Defense has to be better or we lose.

One down, two to dance!!! PS Who are we rooting for between Rider and Siena? I don't think it matters but as 59 has said before, I'll be praying for quadruple overtime, a bout of whooping cough and a side order of scarlet fever.

Risto, Perez, Gist, Maxwell.
Can any of these guys contribute in a meaningful way on Sunday?
The shoulders of EJ, Agee and McGill must be getting awfully heavy!

I’m rooting for Siena-Rider to go triple OT. A real brutal, foul filled, hard hitting war of attrition. With really bad officiating. And a plumbing breakdown in the TUC for that night only.
That’s what I’m rooting for.

as much as it was 3-5 in game 1 a big reason we won was the 5 guys that didn't help us also didn't hurt us, combining for only 1 t/o.At the beginning of the year bad t/o's were killing us in the close gamez we were losing. Baby steps from those 5, combine for 15 and take care of the ball and we will move on.

What I saw was Cluess was afraid to have anyone else shoot the ball. He had gist bring it up so he can then pass to one of the other 3 and tried not to have anyone else even think about shooting it or get in a position to turn it over. I thought this was brilliant as you saw there was little to no chance anyone else was going to help and more likely they would hurt if they touched the ball.
This worked last night but it will not win us this tourney, someone else is going to have to show up and our best chance is Gist, he has to hit some 3’s and hopefully do it early to get his confidence going.

Gist, Ben, and Risto are all fully capable of contributing. Just need to believe in themselves, follow their assignments, play their roll. They can all shoot and score. Risto needs to give us some "big man" minutes. They can all contribute on D. Thought Ben was active in the passing lanes while he was in there.

Find it funny that Siena fans justify their 0 for 9 playoff record against us by saying that only 1 or 2 of those games took place when they had good teams. Perhaps the most delusional fan base in the US.

Perhaps the most delusional fan base in the US. Yea, that is such a delusional, catch-22 argument. Anytime Siena plays Iona in the tourney, we end their season. The Siena fan base then deems Siena as having a bad year, but if Siena avoids us in the tourney and goes on to win, they deem Siena as being a good team and believe Iona was "lucky" to have not played them. I believe 7 of those wins came in Albany on their home court!! I think Iona should leave the Rinky Dink Maac and join the big east!!!! LOL
