What an absolutely amazing way to cap it off at the Tim(e)s Union Center! This bunch was not going to be denied! 5 guys in double figures, shared the ball, shot it well and rebounded by committee (everyone but Rhem had at least 1 Reb but in his defense he only played for 1 min). They did a terrific job maintaining the foot on the throat especially when Rickey had to come out and then when Agee had to exit. Great tournament for Gist and I think he deserved an all-tourney nod. So proud of the EFFORT that these guys showed over the course of this run. TC is a magician and a master chef all rolled into one. Saw that JG was up there to support the guys, that is pretty awesome!

No Grasso. No Griffin. No Casimir. No Still. No Nikolic. NO PROBLEM. LOL!... not that any of those fellas would not have helped to make an easier journey.

I just saw on the MAAC website the all-tournament team... are they kidding... Gist was left off? .. I would have given him the MVP!! Politics. Need one Siena guy on there to keep Ensor from losing his mind. BTW if Ensor said Iona winning is bad for the MAAC we have a legit reason to be skeptical about all decisions the league makes next year affecting Iona. Completely blew his credibility. I didn’t hear Goodell say anything about the Patriots.

I like your comparison with the Patriots. Gist should have been there over Crawford, McGill or Agee for that matter. Also, Devante Turner(ST. Pete's) should have been on the team. Sorry to complain on a glorious day after ...

I disagree, if we had those pieces i believe we would have a chance at a higher seed, meaning a greater chance for an upset in the NCAA Tournament

Agreed. Especially with Griffin, but cie la vie. A great job by the Gaels.

Interesting post-game chatter about how Agee would not have progressed as quickly if he were playing behind Griffen.

Interesting post-game chatter about how Agee would not have progressed as quickly if he were playing behind Griffen. Was thinking that myself. Hopefully losing Griffin is a blessing in disguise.

Interesting post-game chatter about how Agee would not have progressed as quickly if he were playing behind Griffen. Right. Because our coach is too stupid to figure out how to get two great players to play together. This is nonsense. If he could have kept his head on straight, Griffen would have significantly improved this team.

He would not have played as much.

I always assumed Agee would have been better if Griffin was in the lineup, as he would've commanded less double teams and had less pressure to score. I think Griffin and Casimir would've been good for another 3-5 wins this season.

With the loss by Gonzaga, last night, does Iona (4X) have the longest League 'run'? I know that Kentucky is going for four straight, also.
