Sean Armand II? I like the 6.9 avg boards per game. Nah, more like Gist, not the pure shooter Armand was. Link to video:

But he’s much taller than Gist and 7 rebounds a game.

Re-loading!
Add an impact big, keep the returning core and this team can be very special next season!

With a nucleus of Agee, EJ, Gist, and Perez coming back, if we could add a shooting guard and two Taaj Ridley type players, we should be in great shape.

Looking deep with guards. Gist, Perez, Ross, Ortale, McNeill and Hudson. And Guy joining us in '20. I'm impressed!

My take on McNeil. Honestly don't believe he is the answer at PG, and the staff needs to recruit a kid that can come in from day one and run the team, even if it's only for 20-25mpg. We saw this season how important PG play is for the Iona system. As soon as McGill got things going, Iona went on their winning streak.
McNeil does have some really solid numbers, is very athletic, and appears to be a impact type player.
McNeil put up these numbers in 21 games this season. What's impressive is he improved on all of his stats, though he turned it over more his Soph year.
FG: 163-315 (52%) 3FG: 44-112 (39%) FT: 131-168 (78% on a impressive 8 attempts per game) 6.9RPG with 49 steals and 9 blocks. His A/TO was a very poor 59/80.

I’ve asked the question before and didn’t see a response. Is this kid Anderson the real deal - do we have a shot at him? He would seem to be the answer to those who feel we still need a “point guard”... “No greater honor as a PG than to lead NYC in assists for 3 straight years!!! Brooklyn Collegiate SR PG GLEN ANDERSON will be honored during halftime of tomorrow’s @psalbasketball Championship Game! He’s amassed 538 career assists”

He is very athletic and your typical tough NYC guard. Coaches I know saw Anderson totally outplay '20 recruit Ace Baldwin from Baltimore whose list of 5 final programs are all HM programs. Honestly, from what I have heard and just speculation, is that he would probably commit to Iona, but maybe Iona is waiting on some other recruits.

Thx sharkey. Good information and an added bonus would be his four years of eligibility. Gotta love those tough NYC ball handlers! For his role, the 5’9” wouldn’t seem to be an issue. We’ve had some good ones with his size...

Sharkey had a good take on McNeil, and I also have heard that we are in the hunt for some some special kids that are better than Anderson, not a great source but when different sources say the same thing it is more likely to be accurate,it’s a good problem to have!!!,

Verbal commits has three players transferring out of Marist today(Dozic, Nedrow & Williams) is that normal, if there hasn't been a change in head coach?

This kid pushes that ball; he is in the lane in a flash. Then he shows multiple options. Smells like a PG to me.
