Unbelievable end to UCF-Duke! Refs missed obvious "hook & hold" on Zion and obvious shove by Barrett to get rebound. Yeah that was ridiculous, and how did the tip not fall, Duke was super lucky. They don’t look like the best team in the country.

How come every time the ball rolls around the rim and out, Duke Wins? Never seems to happen the other way around.

My time of reckoning has come. Early in the season, I saw this team struggling to get into the upper half of the MAAC. In my mind, the loss of returnees Ced and Roland reduced us to two returning players from last year’s team which had its own issues. I was not impressed with the JC videos of Tajuan. I saw Risto as the reincarnation of Jonathan Huffmann. I saw Rickey as the assist guy – the straw. I saw EJ as a great contributor, but not a “go to” over the course of the game. I settled into a developmental season.
I just hate groveling to all you delusional assholes. I was wrong on all counts. My apologies to all of the above and to Coach! As for the others on the roster, I had not seen enough to form an opinion. I am blown away by the leadership of Rickey. We will see him stalking the sidelines as a Cluess successor. First, go make some money.
AS for the North Carolina game, our short roster and limited size was the story of the second half. Had Risto (not putting this one on Risto) popped a few more treys, would the waters have parted for others to take it to the hole? Having said all that, again the Big guys (LSU, BYU, Iowa State, Duke, NC) pounded it inside and asserted their physicality on our Gaels. Again, my size, size, size mantra is wrong; my new mantra – a deeper roster and, yeah, more size to rotate in and push when the big guys get physical.

I have been a Ristanovic fan all year, but he really surprised me in the Carolina game with the confidence he played with. He wasn't hesitant at all on the offensive end, and even hit that fade away mid range shot. He only shot 3-9 from three, but at least 2 of those attempts were forced as the shot clock was winding down. Counting the postseason games, he had 5+ rebounds in 4 of the last 7 games, and one game he only played 3 minutes so really 4 out of 6. Hope he can stay healthy this summer and finally have a full off season to practice and develop with the staff. Even the announcers were impressed with his skill set especially being a 6'1'' Freshman

Even with his shooting woes at times this season, I also think Ristonavic has a pretty height ceiling. He’s going to be a big help next season.

I has been a Risto fan all season. The sky's the limit even with his slight build.

The Patriots have lost more Super Bowls than like 20 NFL teams. Just sayin' Not even a close comparisom Maybe not. Just think of how many teams never make it to the NCAA's or haven't for decades, and when they do are never in a position to compete, much less lead a school like BYU by 25 points in a game. Yeah it sucks to lose, but in some ways it's like the pitcher who loses 20 games. You have to be a pretty good pitcher, otherwise you wouldn't get enough starts to lose 20 games. One way to look at it.

One way to look at it. We could use delusional Siena fan logic. The reason we have such a poor record in the NCAA tournament is because we only play in the tournament, years that we are down. The years we don't get in are years we would definitely win a game or two. (that is Siena logic explaining their 0-10 record against Iona in the tourney)

I might be the only fan, except for UCF fans, that thought Zion charged on his last basket. At least according to the tv guys.

Hey, does anyone know if CBS or NCAA archives these games? I forgot to DVR. So, no one knows? The best I could find was an extended highlights package. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9yo3XOJ1B4
