You could nap for 10 minutes and only miss a made shot or two in this game. This is when you really appreciate the Cluess system.

After watching the way Auburn lost in the last 8 seconds, I'll never bitch about an Iona heartbreaker. Refs missing the obvious double-dribble cost them a Final Four game. Yeah that's a consequential call. Cost them a trip to the National Final. Well, IMO that should have been a foul before the double dribble. Missed foul cost Virginia a couple of seconds. Calls go both ways. Kid made the free throws. Bad way to lose, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Old Timer's View on Tonight's Game Virginia has a slight class rating above Texas Tech and will be the favorite in tonight's game. They are a more defensive-minded team while Texas Tech is a more offensive type team. Virginia has played a tougher schedule while TT's schedule is slightly lower in character. Although I don't see the game as a runaway but a fairly close match with Virginia winning by 6 to 10 points. TT will have a chance at victory throughout, but Virginia will ward off the offensive challenge that TT will provide in the last 5 minutes.

TT has the best defense in the country and have suffocated everyone in the tournament. They are far from offense minded.

OT called it (6-10 points), and the last five minutes, overtime, was the difference. OT, you're not getting older, you're getting better. Congrats.

Greg, OT reached the correct conclusion. He might have taken a couple of wrong turns, but he got where he wanted to go.
