For what? No proof it's on the downswing 05 doesn't go to high school tournaments either lol 1970...what proof are you looking for? Attendance was poor last year which forced them to move to campus locations, which then compromised the competitiveness and partiality of the tournament. Prize money hasn’t gone up in 3 or 4 years. Sponsors have remained flat and non-commital. Fan voting has been stagnant. The tournament hasn’t been promoted properly or capitalized on the opportunity it had when it was hot a few summers ago. NBA is in its last days and I haven’t seen any promotion around it letting basketball fans know that they don’t have to wait until October to get their fix. There doesn’t seem to be as many high level players playing this year as in past years. I don’t have evidence of the TV ratings but would suspect that they are flat at best over the past 2-3 years. Do you disagree with the above? What more proof are you looking for?

Do you disagree with the above? What more proof are you looking for? Well, I would say if what you are saying is true, then the expectations were way out of proportion to reality. You don't build something like this overnight. Particularly when you are entering an already glutted market. To me, at least anecdotally, interest has increased each year. To think you are going to go from a 1 million dollar tournament to a 50 million dollar tournament in 5 years is a pipe dream. More realistic to stay in Divsion 2-3 arenas and build interest locally for 5-10 years and once you can prove stability, then slowly grow and build. So many ventures like this have fizzled out because they got greedy and tried to grow too fast. I can tell you that in my little part of the Midwest interest is off the charts this year. Much more publicity than last year. Honestly, I'm fine if it doesn't grow much bigger than it is. It's a nice little tournament. As long as it can find a way to sustain itself, I'm fine.

I still don't see proof They are playing in more venues this year to keep teams close to home so attendance will go up, that is a good thing Anyone who told u It would go up to 50 mil was crazy and if u believed them that is pretty shocking since u r a business man They are still on tv so they are still getting sponsors not Luke some new football leagues The better teams still have name players So no I don't see anything wrong with the tournament. So don't watch it or don't invest in it and just enjoy the games this year.

Not saying it's wildly successful, but sometimes you need to just survive first. Any venture like this is a risk. Most don't make it. Just making it this long is something of a success. Just go ask the various Women's Soccer leagues.

I DON'T believe that. doesn't pass the common sense test. On an individual basis, lets say for a St Bonnie/Syracuse alumni game back in 2018 they sold (conservative) 500 tickets, that would mean they sold 70,000 tickets for this years game. The carrier dome Standing room only? Lets say they didn't sell 500 tickets for the game in the past, ONLY 100 tickets that would be 14,000 paid attendance, this year. No way.

So, I think you misunderstand. Focus on "Over the Same period." These events get allot of late sales and walk-up. I'm guessing they barely had any publicity this early before. So, they might have sold 4 tickets "In this Period" and 560 so far this year. I'm sure this is an overall average also. And yes, they are trying to spin it as a great increase. Again, good marketing.
