Began his career at UConn. 86 or Sharkey? Could be very good under the Cluess system. Wasn't consistent this year but had stretches of solid games. Only negative is would have to sit one to play two, so wouldn't fill the PG void next season. Really could have helped next year as 25mpg guy and just run the offense. Also has good size at 6'3". With only 1 scholarship available, tough to tie up a ship with a sit out transfer, when the team needs PG help next year as well as a big, with Agee/Maxwell/Nikolic all being seniors

Procter transferring from High Point as a grad transfer after averaging 19.5 ppg this year. Curious to see where he ends up and how he does there.

brf is moving me to his choice for our PG for the next couple of years, Asante Gist. Two reasons: 1. He closed the year playing a lot of PG, and playing it well. 2. By moving to the PG position, he'll open up PT for Ross, McNeill and Ortale. Hudson can back up Gist.
Naturally, I have no idea what TC's plan is.

Providence backup PG Makai Ashton-Langford is transferring, average 4 pts and 2.3 assists in 17 min per game as a soph this year but was highly recruited out of high school. Began his career at UConn. 86 or Sharkey? Needs a fresh start somewhere else. He was a 4 Star (Top 50) recruit who held offers from UCONN, URI, BC, DePaul, St. Bonaventure and Louisville. He originally committed to UCONN, enrolled for the summer and then asked for his release after associate head coach Glen Miller was fired. Eaton is on him. We are/were recruiting his brother Demarr Langford, who is a 6'4" SG/SF out of Putnam Science. He is reported to be a 2020 recruit but he was considering jumping to the 2019 class. The family has expressed hope that they would get to play together. Demarr has offers from Texas Tech, PITT, Georgetown, Rutgers, WV, Virginia Tech, URI, Penn State, Bryant, St. Bonaventure and Iona.

A very interesting development... Traci Carter (Burlington, NJ) is transferring from LaSalle as a graduate transfer. He originally played at Marquette before committing to LaSalle after visiting Iona. Carter was a 4-Star recruit and was recruited by Xavier, BC, Cal, Creighton, Seton Hall, Temple, PITT, Memphis, NC State, Cincinnati, Dayton, Florida, State, Manhattan, Drexel, Hofstra, Iowa, Saint Joseph's, Tennessee, NOVA, St. John's, Providence, and UCONN.
He is very quick and is tough. Could be the PG we are looking for and we came close to landing him last time. This year he started 30 games for LaSalle and averaged 6.4 points, 3.3 assists, and 2.7 rebounds in 24 minutes of playing time.

Another former Iona recruit, transferring from their school. 6'7" F Tshiefu Ngalakulondi (pronounced Chef Galla-koo-londi) is leaving St. Bonaventure. He would have to sit a year and would have two years of eligibility. A very good athlete, he did not play much earlier in the season but his time picked up the last seven games. His best game was against Niagara where he played 33 minutes and scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Also played well against Akron where he dropped 11 points and 12 rebounds in 26 minutes of playing time.
