Six games? Huh? I hope they at least get to nine. With the power conferences now playing 20 conference games each, wouldn’t it stand to reason that more OOC games would be available for all those schools who otherwise would have been “bought” by the P5? Lots of good programs in the northeast and mid-Atlantic.

Got a call from a buddy who is a Siena fan. Complaining not only a 29 game schedule, but only 3 games the Entire month of December. THREE. never heard of a schedule with so few games in December.
Made me take a closer look at Iona's schedule. IF Iona gets into a exempt tourney this late, we would have a similar schedule with only 3 games in December. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the exempt tournaments are done by November? Would only leave room to schedule 1 more home game in December, which I'm sure will lead to unhappiness with only 2 home OOC games.
Staff is in a tough spot. Upgraded HAC, the hype of one the best teams under Cluess and the possible big draw of IW, and looking at a max 2-3 OOC home games.

Fair point, but those 2 games is the reason they only play 2 games in December which is ridiculous. Better off not playing those games and scheduling 2 more OOC games in December. To me the OOC schedule should prepare a team for league play, hopefully getting better and building momentum. Two games in December kills that after playing 9 games in November.

I wonder where the Atlantic Sun / MAAC challenge would be played next year if they have one? Mohegan Sun? Nassau Coliseum?
