I never remember there being less news on the OOC this late. Why this is a secret I have no idea. Based on some comments I think we are playing St. Chicken in holiday festival. Stetson, kinnesaw, Ohio and maybe St. Chicken, no other news.

I think we usually get our schedule announced at the end of August. A game against St. Johns would be surprising, after all that happened with their head coach search. I think the goal for the non conference schedule should be: more than the minimum 9 games and more than 2 home games.

Was that pre written contracts being signed? I know some schools back out of the return game in the contract, but have to Pay big money. Nevada did that to Rhode Island about 2 years ago, St Marys backed out of a return game to Grand Canyon U. Expensive way to do business.

Which we could get Mid-Majors such as Davidson, VCU, , Murray State and Weber State to join forces and schedule each other to help with OOC scheduling and ultimately NCAA seeding. The Mid-Majors need to close ranks and work cooperatively to each other’s benefit. No one else will, especially the Selection Committee. Keeping fingers crossed for this years schedule.

I wish we were seen in the same category as those teams

Let a bottom dweller like Marist pile up as many OOC wins as possible. With the 20-game MAAC schedule, which is suicidal for a mid-major with any aspirations for an at-large bid, you need as many OOC wins as possible to avoid a horrible collective SOS like last season. It’s up to the contenders to schedule up and to feed L’s to the bottom teams.

Similar to Fordham coach. I don't know how our sched will look, but we are more reliant on Guarantee games than Marist. When we do get bought, I hope it is by a better team than Fordham. With some of the major conferences (Pac-12, Big10, ACC) moving to 20 game conference schedules, less Buy $ games out there to be had. I hope we don't wait around and have to grab Mcneese St leftovers again.
