Recruiting guru, but a very credible guy. Braziller also confirming, though surprised others have not yet. I will say this, I will not be convinced until a press conference is held. Was told by a national writer he is surprised Moser is interested for the SJU job since he is a Chicago guy. Said there is always a chance he has a change of heart and declines the job.

Yeah they are saying he's been offered the job. Louie faction wins out. But they aren't saying he's the new coach. Weird to put out he's been offered. If Moser turns it down, egg on St. John's face.

Great news to wake up to but let’s see him accept the job before we celebrate!

Don't know why he would interview with SJU if he wasn't going to accept the job. Now, the only question is whether Sister Jean is part of the deal.

Maybe he’s contemplating what an absolute clusterfuck St John’s is at this point? The AD doesn’t even get to hire the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and has been rather publicly humiliated. The AD may resign in the near future since he’s given the responsibility for athletics without the authority to do his job the way he see’s fit. Who would want to be held accountable for the decisions of someone else? I was happy for Tim to move on if this was his dream job. He’s earned the right to do what’s best for himself. I’d stay at Iona for another year, kick some butt and evaluate my options next year. Very possible if Tim takes the job now the AD is gone in fairly short order and he’s reporting to people who didn’t want him until there is a new AD, whoever that may be.

So if Moser says yes then Tim remains our coach. I think Moser is crazy if he takes the job. As long as that relic Carnesecca is maneuvering his back door shit st John’s will remain dysfunctional.

Doubt very much that the SJU AD will resign, no matter what the outcome. There aren't that many AD jobs. But if, in the future, he's offered another AD job, he'd probably jump at the offer.

I’d resign as soon as I’ve found a new landing spot, and regardless of what happens with Cluess I’d start looking today. If Moser doesn’t work out in the next three years who do you think will get the blame? The AD or the guy with all the power?

Wouldn’t it be great if Moser and then Cluess turns down SJU? Unlikely, but it would be wonderful.
