1970, I know that you mean, when you talk about not playing well during the past two years, was his play at the Univ. of Minnesota. Just wondering if in the past two summers, if he played games at Rucker Park, or some other NYC venue.

Absolutely! That will bring in the crowds. Just what the kids respond to today - songs from the 1920's!

I would not say that Isaiah has not played well in the last two years. As a freshman, he averaged 20 minutes a game, 8.7 points and 2.3 assists while playing behind Nate Mason... nothing shabby about that. He had some very good games dropping 18 points against #2 MSU, 26 points against #24 Michigan, 18 against Rutgers etc...

Richard Pitino at Minnesota is like John Thompson the 3rd at Georgetown a few years back. Programs and systems where talent goes to die. IWash will thrive under Cluess

And also a very good A/TO ratio of 156/83 with 79/35 last season, just what Iona needs. Plus, like Guy pointed out on the MAAC board to the idiot Siena fans knocking IW, he did it against some very good defensive Big Ten teams.

The 20 page thread on the Minnesota board indicates that Pitino is going to try to help Jelly secure his hardship waiver.

Isaiah has a very good freshman season in the Big 10, probably better than Momo’s freshman year at Arizona.
Sophomore season was a major disappointment.

His shooting numbers went down, but he didn't shoot great freshman season either. He did have a A/TO ratio of 79/35 his Sophomore season. Hard to say major disappointment.

He doesn't have all those followers because of his assist/turnover ratio lol Where did I say it did? No shit his following is from the entire Jelly Fam movement that he started. So I guess your'e like the Siena fans that want to concentrate on his shooting stats, and not what his strengths were? Did he take a big Soph jump? No. while his shooting went down, his ball control and A/TO ratio (which is what's crucial in the Cluess system, especially next year with the loss of McGill) improved. Far from a major disappointment. This is a great recruit for Iona, both on and off the court. It appears you don't think the same?

I must be a Asshole, because I still don't know WTF your point was. Try writing a sentence that doesn't take mind reading to figure out. Funny, it's not the 1st time a board member has made this request to you. On that note it's beautiful out, go try and enjoy it. I am.
