Super, by town do you mean Florida or New Ro? I'm guessing Florida, Tampa or Sarasota.

Super, by town do you mean Florida or New Ro? I'm guessing Florida, Tamps or Sarasota. Grasso had a Q&A fundraiser in NYC. His buddy Jon Rothstein joined him. Iona let Bryant practice at the renovated HAC which Grasso loved. Amazing the connection Grasso has with the media. Rothstein joined him for the fundraiser the other night and was at Bryant a few weeks ago to report on one of their practices. I don't believe he's been at Iona since Grasso left.

Rothstein is motivated by one thing... food. Grasso was his fresh pasta and cannoli connection.

Super, did you get any insights as to how fundraising for the 2nd phase was going?

Attended the scrimmage and viewed Guy's Instagram video from last evening. I was wondering if players would find the very busy lighting effects at the scorer's table very distracting. Moving lights reflect on to the floor. (I can see other teams complaining about that the way they complained about the flashing lights on the scoreboards during free throws in previous years.) I would find it distracting during play.

In fact, they loved it and felt it enhanced the overall arena experience.

It was confirmed last night that the new Hynes center has more scoreboards per square inch than any other D1 arena in the country!

I see 05 and Joebird inserting the word arena into their posts. Is that by design.
