Monmouth with the worst oddmakers home court advantage in all of D1 lol.. yikes Altho Iona is catching up fast. That's a rough decline from 2012 to 2019. Does make sense though. Iona is nowhere near as tough at home as they used to be.

Can't put my finger on it, but my feeling is that there is a flaw in this data. Will have to look more closely at it.

I didn't read the article, but when it comes to home records, I'd be interested in seeing how Iona's record breaks down by month. I have a feeling that our W-L record improves as the season goes on. But I have no data to back it up.

Now that's over the past 20 years. Remember Iona once scheduled home games against St. Leo's and Pace.

I would suspect our percentage improves given OOC foes vs MAAC foes alone.

Textile or a trip up to LeMoyne which is a tough team to beat even today...In fact if memory serves they beat Niagara or Canisius early this past season.... Does anybody remember the last scheduled game against a non Div. 1 Team.........OT Time flys fellows!!!!!!!

I can't find any of this information on the Iona athletics site but it was once there. I remember an all-time opponets list which included schools I've ner heard of and one opponent I think was an armory.

I know we played an Alaskan team, Non D1, prior to Cluess taking over. Either Willard or Jeff squad.

Also, recruiting philosophy plays into it. Less player turnover should help in the early season matchups.

Tucktappers were tough, all grad D1 players in a corporate league.
