I noticed Tariq Kirksay hasn’t received this honor yet, hard to believe. Maybe it comes down to he can’t make the ceremony (does he reside in Europe)?

Who are the other 5 Iona players to win 3 championships? Miller McGill Crawford Casimir Who is the other? Interesting. Somebody please correct me if this is wrong, but from what I can find Rory Grimes, Tony Hargraves, Troy Truesdale & Mark Hopper all won three MAAC Championships. I think the confusion may be that although they won three, they only went to 2 NCAA tournaments. The 82 team did not get an automatic bid. They were real good, but at 24-9 did not get an at-large. With Burt and Springer on that team I thought we could have done some damage in the NCAA tournament that year.

Think Jason Young only won two championships — 98 and 00. Could be wrong.

Does Casimir get an asterisk? I suppose yes. Looks like he only played in 4 games during the ‘15-16 season, so I guess that would get an asterisk.

Certainly if you are going to include Casimir, you should include Bobby.

English to attend 76er's mini-camp, according to a tweet.
"Nicola Lupo (@nicolalupo99) Tweeted: Former Iona guard A.J. English will be attending a free agent mini camp with the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, a source told @sportando. He played for Lavrio in Greece last season."
