When did Armand hit a big shot with the game on the line? Not saying it didn't happen, I just can't remember off top of my head.
I remember him as a very high percentage jump shooter. Specifically with a game on the line I don't remember honestly. But he was one of the top shooters in the nation.
Jordan Washington was a force, but with one play pushing the ball to him in the post he would get fouled and free throws were not his forte. At the same time in a one on one matchup he could not be stopped down low. Easier to double him than my next two choices. The two players that immediately come to mind as having the ability to create space and flat out score are AJ English and Momo Jones. Given the choice of only one to pick I pick Momo. With the passage of time I think we forget how effective he was at scoring. AJ was a better shooter, but Momo just got buckets.
AJ and EJ I think are clear cut top 2. As far as being clutch in big games, I go Casimir at #3, just ahead of Washington. There is no 4-peat without him making huge shots and free throws late in a few MAAC tourney games. Forgotten name is Much, who made some huge plays and shots to win MAAC tourney games. I see Momo mentioned by many, but outside of one huge MAAC tourney game, he really didn't play his best in the MAAC tourney and NCAA tournament. Just going on guys who instantly come to mind when thinking of who made huge shots/plays in the MAAC tournament

Totally agree on Momo and Much comments, I forgot Much, he made a huge shot in 2 different Maac championships. Momo’s horrible NCAA game was a huge contributor in the loss. Jenkins should have got more minutes in that game over Momo, he was the only one who showed up in the second half.
Remember the Question was "Cluess era , game on the line , one play, who gets the Roc?" No mention of MAAC Championship or NCAA games. One play with game on the line. Look at body of work for each player. IMO Momo Jones created his shots, attacked, drew fouls and made free throws with more regularity than others. As a former coach that is the individual I wanted to have the ball in his hands in crunch time. With the exception of AJ most others relied on others to get them the ball or to create open look.

True. Plus both of those WANTED the ball at the end. I'd choose AJ, but to me Momo and AJ are clearly ahead of the others.
Armand was an all-time great. But I don't remember him being particularly clutch.
AJ was guaranteed money with the game on the line. He would have games where it would seem like he disappeared for the first 35 minutes and then would come alive and single handedly win the game in crunch time.
EJ essentially won the MAAC tournament for us as a freshman against Siena in front of 10,000 fans. Nuff said.
Good call on Much, too. Forgot how many clutch shots he hit for us, including in the NCAAs. He actually had a stretch against Oregon where he was on fire and for a few minutes it looked like we might get back in that game.
Momo did have awful games in the NCAAs, but overall he was a very clutch player. He made many big shots and was always money from the foul line with the game on the line. Not to mention all the charges he took on the defensive end with the game on the line, but I know this thread is about offense only.

With Sean I am using the probability factor... great shooter who is 'due" to have a big play in him.
