Sagarin rating has Iona and Lasalle even, which would mean Lasalle is a 3 point favorite. After looking at several of these ratings and where I think money will go and who actual people think is better, I think you will see Lasalle as a 1 point favorite.
The computers are all still giving LaSalle a slight edge, and Vegas will lean on that early. I am suggesting a slight Iona bias nudge and will stick with my pick'em guess.
I am making a BIG stop in jersey on the way down
I know what you mean. A lot of older guys can't hold it in like the used to.? 😉
My concern going into this game is how much time Coach Cluess has had to work with the team. If in fact he’s fighting the flu or some other ailment and hasn’t been running practices, there is no way they will be prepared to take on Lasalle. He is a difference maker and without his tutelage the team will not be at their best. No disrespect intended for his staff, but most are new in their roles.
I went to the LaSalle game I believe the last time we played there. Think it was Laurys first game? Surrounding neighborhood left a lot to be desired. We lost

This is very fair.
The greatest poster in the history of the MAAC as determined by THREE separate polls.

The minutes handed out on Saturday were very similar to what you would see from a Cluess rotation. I think Cluess had major input into how many minutes everyone played and when and who was going in. Starters played most minutes and you already saw the members of the early doghouse (McNeil and Cashaw).
If word gets out in that Cluess isn't coaching on Saturday, I would think that is a point or two move on the spread. Hopefully this won't be an issue and Cluess will coach the opener.

Remember it well. 12-13 season, LaSalle outplayed us that game, but you could see how great DL3 was going to be. Believe he had a double double that game.

are they all eligible? Why were they picked so low?
Lots of new players... many freshman. All transfers are eligible. They may take a while to put it together but they have a few players who can get hot and change a game.

Lmao. If this is what our recruiting class looked like on paper you know we would be doing cartwheels.
