Is there a reason that Nik and Risto arent getting any playing time. Is this coach just too scares to go with anyone but his top guys. Really only 7 players played yesterday. I thought Risto logged some real quality minutes last year towards the end. He needs to get more PT.. not like the current guys are doing great anyways.

No disrespect to Ensor, but what benefit do we get by playing these teams? Does nothing for rankings or preparing us for good competition, and if anything, just lures us into a false sense of security by beating these teams. I suppose there’s something to be said about winning being a good way to bring the team together and build confidence, but overall not seeing any value in this tournament. I don’t think we need to be concerned about a false sense of security. More importantly is the health of our coach, we need a bigger sample size from McNeil and Thiam to see where their contributions will be, also status of Risto and Nik as hopefully both are still on team as we need their size and skills, and last but not least we need to make more shots (3’s, lay up’s, dunks, and foul shots).

Good. Why are they not here? I remember one of the Las Vegas tournaments where AJ did not travel with the team. There was no mention of injury or illness. I would be curious to know why Risto & Nik were no shows.

I guess that’s good to hear, but I also have been trained over the years of following Iona during the Cluess era, to not believe what I hear/read.

Why are we jumping to the conclusion that these two players may be gone?

At this point I just hope Ristanovic is still with Iona. I dont Why? He's a 6'11" kid athletic enough to play the Iona system, with 3 years of eligibility remaining. I think if he's able to stay healthy and get some PT, he can contribute just as much, if not more, than Thiam.
