The Asun/Maac challenge is scheduled to return in the 2021/2022 season, not this upcoming year.

I know I've said this before, but it's worth repeating: the info regarding our OOC literally changes daily. Nothing Pitino mentioned is even happening, and so far outside of the San Fran game nothing else mentioned is definite yet, either.
While I'd expect our schedule to be completed sooner than we normally do (late August-ish) due to everyone just being home and working the phones, I would not expect a slate of drool-worthy games.

Best guess is 3-4 home games comprised of low mids and the flagship game against Ivy, road games against Fordham and other comparable mids, neutral site tourney and then marquis OOC matchup against power program hopefully on neutral floor.

I think you are downplaying the desire for road guarantee($) games against whomever will pay. The previous coaching staff prioritized this to the utmost, and IMO to the detriment of the overall non conference schedule.

Still a 31 game max schedule, to me the significance of this, it eliminates the non div 1 game that many schools attached to their tournaments. Example 3 games in Bahamas and then a game on your home court against a division 2 school within 6 days of the tournament. I don't think there were any 2 game MTE's before this.
