Board is just nuts over this I see Missed the game due to kid stuff. Glad to see we won. How did the team look? Didn't play great but made the big plays at the end of the game. Only 11 turnovers tonight. For all the heat Arnold has taken on the board he coached a good game tonight. Four guys in double figures

I think we win by 7 or 8 Gaels get it done tonight with some good defensive stops & good overall field goal % Nice call. Carnac, do you have some lottery numbers for me for the next drawing.

Much better effort by all concerned players and coaches. In post game interview Arnold said in practice they work each week on getting better at one or two things. Hopefully they work on rebounding because they’re getting killed giving up offensive boards.

I think the key to this win was we kept turnovers and stupid mistakes to a minimum. AND our first win at home!!!

Good win. Much better coaching and substitutions, especially at the end. Guessing Cluess had something to do with that.
Agee still has to limit the bonehead plays.
Van Eyck needs more minutes.

Nice to get a home win but still a lot to work on. Good to see Van Eyk contribute. Agee needs to force it less, keep the ball in Washington’s hands and let the big 3 score off of it. Washington takes some questionable shots but each game you see a little more good and a little less bad from him. He can be a player, it just may take until next season before we really see him blossom.
The Maac is bad, and as bad as we look at times, we are still as likely to win this tourney as anyone, especially if Cluess returns.

I called it that we’d win by 7 or 8 do I get any credit, love? Jk. Secondly I love Van Eyck . He hustles, his intensity is terrific. I think this is why Tra went with him . Still has some improving to do . But he’s a late bloomer with raw talent. Jelly had a fantastic game I think. Maybe this game was a stepping stone . Tajuan is reluctant to shoot the three he didn’t attempt any 3’s I think tonight but seems to crave it often. Needs to stick to his inside game. Backing it down low works for him.Good crowd tonight compared to recent home games. Do any of you feel bad for Risto? Cause I do. I guess because he doesn’t seem to get mins. I know he’s limited offensively. But I truly feel for the kid. Is it true someone on board said he’s had some poor poor practices? Thats why he’s not seeing mins? And there’s more talented players that can score in more ways than one that deserve more PT? What’s up with EJ’s foul shooting? He was money last year. Anyway good win overall boys still have some improving to do. Marist will be a tough game . Gotta get some good practices in by then.

Surprising. We need to get this home win. There are only 3 out of 353 schools that don't have a home win. Some good company here. Mississippi Valley St., Marist and IONA. Bet on Fairfield and root for Iona. Then you would still be a loser at the end of the iona game

Agee got killed on the boards.he had more fouls than rebounds. Fairfield got a lot of second and 3rd chances. Crawford falls asleep on D at times. Both can be fixed with effort. Would like to see Washington drive the ball more, he was quickest guy on the court. Push the agenda and get to the hoop. Big fan of what Van Eyck brings is to the floor.

Coaching was not great at the end 1- one time van eyck in and could have been fouled 2- 2x in the last 2 minutes after we scorexgist stayed in on D and lost his man first time he hit 2nd time he Missed With about 1;30 left we inbounded from under Fairfield basket van eyck and Washington had to tell gist he was suppose to start from corner in front of iona basket, so not always coached fault though when things go wrong Van Eyck might have won game in final 2 -3 minutes of first half with his hustle, got us 3 extra possessions in that time Gor us to take the lead into half time, think it as important not to be losing at halftime when who knows who would have said what to who

Maybe a few pick and rolls, he is the only one who truly gets us quickly over half court before teams settle in on D

Ristanovic and Nikolic played more on an NCAA Tournament team. They rarely play now on an underachieving team. I'm sure there are reasons. Looking for some insight.

You have focused on the two guys troubling me all season. Agee has played real dumb ball. Love the guy but he is playing well below his capabilities. Tonight as an example, he was getting killed under the boards and was foolishly out rebounded throughout. As for Crawford, I know everyone is happy with his scoring. Aside from that, he gets a lot of minutes and seems to contribute again, much less than he is capable of. These two guys and Gist should be carrying the team on both ends of the floor, in all phases. IW of course needs to get his game to the level he is capable of playing also.
