What's sad is that this season has been such a shit show that we now have a 5 page thread after a win that is mostly negative, and yes I have contributed.

Brutal.... Boy do we sure miss Grasso. The insurance policy lapsed when he left.

Looks like I'm glad I missed this one.
For the life of me, I don't understand why we can't play 40 minutes of basketball. Up 22 and decide to take the gas off the pedal and slow things down. What the hell does this accomplish? Were not good enough to nurse any kind of lead.
Similar to the NFL when a team is up by a few scores and decides to play prevent defense. Many times it prevents you from winning!

Well he came right back in, and if he lost 2 teeth every other time this year he lied on the ground not getting up, he would be toothless. Why do you pick a fight with everyone, so I’m wrong on this one, I’m probably right the other 10 times this year he did this. You seem to hate every Iona fan except the couple who have more connections than you. Too much anger, try a happy pill. I just love when accusations are thrown at young men but it's ok since u didn't know lol I like the guys who know since they speak in facts instead of just statements or accusations about kids Opinions on play are argumentative but other things shouldn't be posted just to post If only I could be as knowledgeable and articulate as you! I may have made a mistake on this one about Van Eyk and I’m sorry for that, I can admit when I’m wrong unlike you, and I can assure you I will never go on this board and try to Bully people, especially 80 and 90 years olds, something you do regularly.

EPatrick posted this about 16 hours ago, but I think most missed it. And it was about Jelly breaking two pairs of ankles, last night. Those two plays were worth the price of admission, imo. And if you missed them you can catch the highlights on the official Iona site. Great moves on Jelly's part.

A little better each game and a little less bad shots each game. With a year under his belt and if Cluess returns, next year he can have a great season.

Cluess is a master at improving players shooting. Everyone will benefit from his return. Get well Tim.

IW looks much more confident with the ball and playmaking. Looks to me that he's starting to have his confidence back which is a great thing. Gist doesn't look happy right now with Arnold. They're both clashing in the huddle during breaks. A Win is a Win Doesn't have to look pretty. Screw gist , we look better without him and Washington gets to play PG I agree with your statement slightly. Last year, he played well under TC's leadership and coaching, and I believe he still has the capacity to get back there. However, I agree that his attitude and little kid antics need to stop. When things aren't going your way, you need to play for the other guys on the team and put them before you. Instead, it seems to me that he's pouting like a little 5-year-old kid about shots, ball control, and playing time. IW looks better at PG which I wholeheartedly agree with, but I still think that Gist provides a dynamic for the team that we need. Just needs to get his head on right and just play ball. IW went through a similar phase earlier in the season but we got over that hump. We need that to happen with Gist.

I hope we are wrong about Gist's attitude. He could be throwing away a career that I am sure he has worked very hard for. There are many players but only one team. When the team succeeds the players do too. We found that out last year and the year before and the year before and the year before. Many of those players are earning a nice sum playing professional basketball and seeing the world to boot!
