Hopefully we can show the same heart and effort that we showed against Monmouth, only this time with a healthy roster. Go Gaels!

How does this Siena team compare to last year's team, including the coaches?

They are more athletic and talented this year. 1st year HC that is still learning. Siena is 9-0 at home and 0-9 on the road. They struggle shooting the three, but do have a few guys that can have the occasional hot game beyond the arc. We all know how poorly Iona defends the three at home. That's a big concern.
Not having Gist will be a big loss. Hopefully, Crawford and Van Eyck are healthy. Siena always plays well at Iona. Very tough game.

If Gist and Crawford are not available on Friday night, not sure we have anyone on the bench who can Step in and pickup the scoring in their absence. We better get a good defensive outing if we are to stay in the game.

In the past, the big difference in our fanbases was how well their followers travelled with the team. Mostly kids in their sixties and seventies.

A friend is a Siena fan. He believes Siena has a bus full with fans coming to the game. I remember last year's game and they had a nice sized group behind their bench

No, I don't think many of us believe Iona belongs in the A-10, Big East, Pac-12, G-league, NBA, WNBA etc...

There are some who put us near the Sweet Sixteen each year.
As for me, I've ridden a long roller coaster: McDermott, Roberti, Valvano, Kennedy, Brokow, J Welsh, T Welsh, Ruland, Willard and Cluess.
At this humbling point, I'm happy to be a notch above the Fordham Rams.

CJB was not on the roller coaster at that time...

Clearly Lyons/Willard forgot us.
