I know nothing of them, whats their story? Who do we need to watch out for? I liked Belardo's game a bit, but doesnt look like hes playing.
I guess Im expecting a 25 point win

Spread was 13 last I looked. We should be focused and play well.

We should be focused and play well. considering Canisus beat us in Buffalo last year.

We should be focused and play well. considering Canisus beat us in Buffalo last year. The way I see it; Iona's entire season is being played on the bubble; maybe they have room for 2 to 3 hiccups, and 1 can't occur this weekend!

That's true, Ghost. Pressure on the team is immense.
Only thing that will be worse in terms of pressure is if Iona is a true bubble team come MAAC Tourney time. If you lose, then you just have to sit there and wait a week to find out your fate. If you're NOT on the bubble, then you know the deal--you gotta win the damn thing.
On the flip side, I'll make the assumption that Iona's not going to go 29-1 and make the MAAC Tourney moot with regard to the NCAAs.

You know I love at large talk.
27-3 regular season and I think Iona is a lock but I can't see that happening, 26-4 and they are on bubble. 25-5 bubble with Maac championship close loss, but doubtful, would need to end up having nice quality wins(St joes, Richmond, bracketbuster, Marshall have good year). 24-6 not getting in with the Maac this weak.
Gaels have to come out of this road stretch with just one loss and that will be very tough.

Here's my 3 losses that still get Iona an at large. Either a loss to Marshall or Denver, loss to Fairfield @ahy, and Maac title game defeat. I'm assuming a tough BB game at home that's a must win, anything else and the Maac championship is the only way to go dancing. It's a huge task, but if this team brings it every game it is possible. But to put an end to this hypothesis, truth be told; we're probably looking at Springfield in March as the end all be all, thus the life of the Mid-Major!

(Joebird, early on I thought we'd be 25-5 and on the outside without a MAAC title.)

Super, 25-5 and I agree Iona probably needs Maac title unless somehow some of these teams we play have much better than expected years.
Ghost of Willard , when I said 3 losses and they would get a bid I meant 3 plus a Maac tourney loss. 28-2 and a maac tourney loss and Iona is definitely in.
I think Iona will win comfortably tonight but Sunday scares me. I would be surprised if one of these two weekend games doesn't give Iona at least a scare.

Double digit win on the road. We'll take it despite not being the Gaels best game.
I criticized momo on chatzy but he is a very good player who will get more comfortable as year goes on, but Jenkins is also a very good veteran Senior. Cluess is going to have to find a way to make sure both of them get enough time. And don't forget about Armand. Didn't play much(if at all) tonight but he will eventually become a weapon off the bench.
If you only play 5 guys against this Iona team you are going to wear down eventually. On to Niagara!

Momo played pretty well tonight. He's very important in games like this, when the 3s aren't falling, the zone defense is collapsing on Glover, and Machado has limited room to penetrate. Momo penetrates faster than Machado can.
But Iona should have mixed in Armand tonight, too. A night like tonight, you try some other guards (as they did with James). Perhaps Armand is sharp like Jenkins was in the first half and Iona wins by 20 instead of 12.
Still, good to get a grind-it-out win like this. Humbles them. Niagara played Fairfield tough too. Gaels need to be ready to go.
