Borrowing a phrase from Paul Harvey - apparently, the Darius Leonard saga is over. According to Dave Telep, Leonard is going to Kent State. Sorry for having given some inaccurate info. a couple weeks ago. twitter.com/davetelep

Guess he had it with all the travel and cancelled the weekend sojourn to Pitt.
Good luck to him at Kent St.
With the last ship, I'm sure the staff is hot on the trail for another quality big.

Agree, Gael Fan. The info was valid at the time.
Leonard also updated his facebook status with a Kent State announcement as well.
One thing is certain, though: with the recruiting class Willard brought in a couple years ago and last year, and these two verbals and now Armand, Iona's CLEARLY recruiting beyond MAAC level right now, which explains why we're where we are in the standings (among other things).

Interesting how TC is going a different route.
A guard is signed and two forwards who verbalized to the prior staff are not considered and/or not approached.
Any thoughts on what happens from here? JUCO? Time will tell.
Nice choice in Kash. Met his family years ago at a game up at Colgate (Adonal Foyle) when we played and they were wonderful people. very pleased.

KLUTZ KORNER KWESTIONS
This is a quick reply to 1) the thread in general?? 2) a particular post (if so, how selected)??
Same questions about a not so quick reply.
There is a pair of icons way on the left. What are they for?

CPMan, is it possible you registered for this board a ways back? This board has been in existence for more than a year. In any event, just try to log in and see what happens. If neither of those get you far, let me know and I'll take a closer look.
For QS--the quick reply is just a simply way to reply or comment without, say, using the "quote" feature to show that you're replying to a specific feature. Also, the quick reply does not allow you easy access to the posting features available, such as including an image. Best way to test out what the regular reply does is to do just that, test it out. You can hold your cursor over the icons and it should tell you what each does. Same goes for the icons on the far left--one is to print the page (I think) and the other is to send you a direct e-mail. If you don't want those features you can click on your profile and change them.

Thanks, Guy. Pardon my experimenting here. The hovering-over-the-icon trick doesn't work for me so I'll launch into Thomas Edison mode. I'm guessing that the non-quick reply has to be triggered by clicking on the quote thingee??

No, QS, right under the most recent post, outside of it, you'll see an icon to click reply, and it will be a "regular" reply to the thread.

Realize you were just testing the image function--but who the hell is that? [/quote] that is the beautiful, sweet, multi-talented Hazel, my virtual grand daughter.
