Who will get the majority of the credit if this team is very successful? Tim, KW or even Jeff.
Jeff recruited 2 players on the team. Rashon and Alejo KW will have 2 starters, Machado and Smyth TC will have 2 starters, Glover and Armand.
Just curious how you guys distribute credit.

I'm sorry, Jeff! As much as you all know that I respect Jeff, this team is now a KW-TC team. I think that the coming year, they will both deserve credit for having put the pieces in place. The thing that really amazes me is how quickly and significantly TC has put his stamp on this team with the many personnel changes that have taken place in his short tenure to date.

Three players from the prior regime, for varying reasons, have made the decision to move on. Their reasons for leaving , in their minds, out-weighted the reasons for staying and playing for TC. I have to assume that those who stayed went through the same process and opted to play for TC. If not, they need to get it done in the next couple of weeks. We have brought in three, maybe four, MAAC + level recruits. By now, I believe the team has a feel for what TC wants and their expected role towards that goal. Of course, much will change when people get on the floor and the plan gets tweaked. When people such as Pelch, Mike and Trinity recommit (Scott, Jermel, and Kyle are Juniors - so is TF); that tells me a lot this team, especially as the trio eyes the incoming class. By the way, I think JJ is going to be a MAJOR contributor. The rest of the MAAC will need a new deal fom NIKE - for track shoes. This is TC's team, and I am looking forward to seeing it. I am already looking at buying up for the Cable Sports package.

The acquisition of Glover has opened up many options for T.C. For several years we have been basically a 3 guard offense team....I think we will continue along those lines, but we will see more use of the traditional 3 forwards lineup.....Tthe MAAC has lost a ton of front court players that have given us trouble off the boards. The use at the same time of A-rod..(McFadden-Kristic) along with Glover could take advantage and alleviate those problems particulary against such teams as St. Peter's and Fairfield......
Aside... Just an early guess....Season starting lineup...... A-Rod.......Glover.....Dwight.....Smyth......Machado........... Breakout years....Trinity...McFadden......
Go Gaels!!!!!!

The only traditional SF we have is the JUCO from Monroe. No?

The only traditional SF we have is the JUCO from Monroe. No? I'd put Kesic more into the mold of a SF than Randy. From what I've read, he's a good 3-point shooter and prefers to play the perimeter. I'd guess Randy is more of a drive to the basket three.

Great question, ichoops.
I'll fall in line with those that feel this is Tim Cluess team.
With Glover likely to make an immediate impact and his prior relationship with Machado, I don't think there's any question this is Cluess team.

Cluess!!! I think we heard rumblings that Cluess was going to do whatever it takes to win, and that is why we have Glover. I am glad, I want to win!

Kesic is probably a perimeter scorer, but I doubt if he's a perimeter defender. Of course that's said w/o ever having seen him play. I just keep seeing Ivo Kresta in my mind.

It's Machado's team. And if Glover gets it done in the classroom, it's Cluess' success story.
