You guys are closer to the program than I, what are the expectations this year?

At the reception at Mariano's, TC said that CP was his most pleasant surprise of the returning players. I would imagine that he and Alejo, assuming that Alejo is healthy, will share the post this season. And maybe, at times, play together. JMO.

I have high expectations... he was effective in the limited minutes he was given as a freshman, IMO his future is very bright.

Surprisingly. he started and played well against Baylor (Final 4) in Orlando last November. He showed some bright spots in limited minutes--although not enough time to project. Footwork is very good and appeared to have good hands.

50 More pounds and Brian Kelly from Notre Dame would want him on the offensive line... good hands and feet. If he steps up this is going to be a very very good team.

I agree with the above comments, but I would expect some improvement, not a huge jump. Definitely one of the guys that must help out.

A close look at the limited playing time Pelcher had last year would reveal that he missed many chippies, dunks and put backs...This I attribute to a freshman attitude of hesitancy....Watching him during practice he appears much more relaxed and confident... My thought last year that he was the quiet type was quickly dispelled when I mentioned this to his roomate Kyle who stated "Are you kidding me, he is true fun guy"....The backboard incident helped confirm this......
As posted by Super, he does have good hands and footwork, and above average athletic ability for a big man....If he puts it all together, he might very well be after Rossiter is gone the best big man in the MAAC...(Rossiter was no ball of fire as a freshman).
IC59 mentioned that we might see Pelcher and Arod in the lineup at the same time..I doubt that we will see that any time during the lst half of a game, but in the 2nd half without serious foul trouble, it would be very interesting for coach T.C to find a way to double post them..That would be big trouble particulary for the MAAC...
Like Hannity who is counting the days to Nov. election, I am counting days to Oct. 15th....He has about 95....we have about 75.....Yes..I am hyped....!
Aside.....Happened to see Albany's schedule, and it appears we are not on it....
Go Gaels!!!!!

Be interesting to see how Pelch fits into this "run and gun" offense of Cluess's. Can he get up and down the floor with the rest of them?

ctbill, Pelch runs the court very well for a kid his size, he'll do fine in that style.
