I would say Tavon Sledge is a an elite athlete. He ran a 11.39 100 Meter and is reported to have a 45" vertical.

Sean Armand and Tre Bowman have signed contracts to play in Europe this year. Assuming Steve Burtt Jr. is also playing in Europe again. Any word on Mike Glover, Taaj Ridley, Momo Jones and Scott Machado for this upcoming season? Hopeful they continue to play professional a few years before transitioning to their next career.

Scott Machado's twitter feed says he has just signed a contract to play in Estonia for BC Kalev Cramo of the VTB United Basketball League. Good luck to Scott on his adventure abroad.

Qatar? Gee whiz basketball.asia-basket.com/player/Lamont_Jones/187370[/quote]... Jones might be smarter then all of us.......... Willie Sutton the notorious Bank Robber when he was asked why he robbed banks answered ''Because that is where the money is'' Qatar is located on the Pershian gold coast...Surprising it is the third richest country in the world...With its oil rich industry, it is loaded with money...They are reportedly going basketball nuts, and wish to become a powerhouse in that area and beyond..... They run the riches horse racing purses in the world with money apparently no object, and their gambling industry with its high rollers probably dwarfs Las Vegas.... Shed no tears for MO MO....

He played there at the end of last year after his gig in Japan. I believe...Don't know if it's the same team.

I know he is making tons of money and their economy is very rich. I was merely just trying to keep everyone posted on moves by former Gaels.

Not sure if anyone at Iona knows the answer, but I'm curious to know which former Gael is A) playing in the top League and B) who is being paid the most? Does anyone on this Board know?
