To my good Liberal friends........You reap what you sow...The chickens are coming home to roost.....Revolution eats its own children...... As Ferguson burns.........and Black murder deaths near 1,000 in Chicago..... HAVE YOU NO SHAME...............
Sadly, it appears you are reveling in this--a true American! (I think George Washington might disagree about the Revolution comment!)
Did you ever see Dr. Strangelove? You might have had a chance for a role in the final scene.
You probably prefer Iona basketball as it was in "the old days."
By the way--you said you were done 4 different times. Follow your own advice.

Super...I won't deny I posted several times that I was done, but I love the fray...Use to prefer to throw a series of jabs then the knock out blow....
I remember you stated ''Even your best friends would deny that you are a liberal''.....Now that brought about a big laugh....

Absolutely! Just love the underdog and the underrepresented.(I always thought those were conservative values.) See Dr. Strangelove--you'll enjoy it and likely empathize with it. You might have starred in the last scene! My preference: Float like a butterfly--sting like a bee.!

Interesting perspective you have there. Jesus Christ and Socrates were both killed by their own people. In the right wing world of their day, I guess that meant that they had nothing valid to say. Liberals, Japanese, and black presidents - all idiots, right?? French?? “Old men grasp at life more than babies, and leave it with a much worse grace than young people. It is because all their labors having been for this life, they perceive at last their trouble lost.” Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Ferguson...I live in Staten Island about 5 blocks away from where Eric Garner died...my neighborhood is both culturally and economically diverse...we all seem to get along though up to this point...hopefully it will continue to be so after the Grand Jury comes in...otherwise I fear for my family...I am a supporter of the NYPD, but -that said - no one deserves to die in a stranglehold for selling 75-cents loosies.

I have to make a comment on this topic, listening to Deblasio speak I think he is a terrible mayor. He's promoting problems and taking sides which is very dangerous for the city. Lastly I was at a Christmas party last night in grand central station when the protestors came in and started to lay down on the ground. The news proclaimed that they're peaceful but in actuality many problems occurred. People were arguing and fighting, they started chanting "F--k Corporate America" (Which had nothing to do it) and lastly they were throwing bottles and all kinds of stuff at the Christmas party. Literally they missed my face with a glass bottle by an inch. If this bottle would've hit me I would lost my eye. I feel badly for Eric Gardner but not these people protesting. This has to stop and the victim card and blame game is a joke. Michael brown wasn't an angel and Eric Gardner shouldn't resist the officers arresting him.

Cool and agree gordon...thank God that cooler heads prevailed the other night despite DeBlasio's repeatedly divisive behavior...no one has done more to polarize the city since he was elected..he is proving to be quite a problem imho...when he showed up on Staten Island after the bverdict came in it was one of the few times he did...he didn't campaign here and has not visited the boro at all after his election except to show up at Goodfellows once and eat his pizza with a knife and fork...I'm not a conservative by any stretch but he is a complete horse's ass...

Deblasio quote from his last speech:
'We've had to talk to Dante for years about dangers he may face,' said de Blasio about the infamous 'talk' many parents of African American or mixed-race children have nationwide. 'I've had to worry over the years..Is my child safe? And not just from harsh realities…crimes and violence…are they safe from the people they want to have faith in (cops)?'"
Who would even say this about the people that protect and serve our city.

I wish we would change the title of this thread--hardly relevant.

Does the truth hurt and have you received new orders to start the Censorship phase.......Are you still hiding behind the denial that you are not a liberal......It is obvious that you are being bothered by the posts and opposition that are taking hold... I made a vow to attempt while the season was in progress to stick to basketball but the very arrogance of your request exposed your true leanings....
