Tomorrow St chicken hosts 15 potential recruits, and in even more exciting news Zach Braziller of the ny post is expected to propose to Christopher Mullin, what a beautiful day it will be and what a beautiful couple! A little disappointed that the eventual honeymoon may limit the number of hourly tweets on the cardinal shower. I imagine this guy must be on the payroll... “I think St. John’s message is that they’re going to have a ton of guys who have done things at the highest level as far as the NBA is concerned,” Terrance “Munch” Williams, the director of the PSA Cardinals AAU program, told SNY.tv. “There’s going to be a heavy dose of development when the guys get to St. John’s, whoever chooses to attend the University. Their focus is going to be more on skill development and preparing you for the next level, as opposed to just running offensive sets and defensive schemes that will help the individual college win games. They’re more focused on kids being ready and developing their strengths.”zagsblog.com/articles/chris-mullin-staff-impress-flock-of-new-york-recruits/#more-136017

I know some of us on the board don't like Louie, but I always gave him credit. He developed his players sometimes at the cost of winning.

[/quote] In the next few months you will witness the biggest college basketball blitz ever seen in the New York City college basketball world...St. John's will rule led by its 'Family style' sportcasters...It will be interesting to see their schedule for the coming year...It will reveal if a new regime has taken grip, or if the selfish old school remains in control........I am rooting hard for them to once again 'Earn' their way as one of the Metro Area's premium college basketball programs and not 'shelter' itself with its cleverly maneuvered and avoidance schedule...
