Wouldn't be surprised to see us go small tomorrow: AJ, Casimir, Much, IW, Rountree. I really hope we don't see much of this line up. Especially not at the beginning of the game. Rountree brings brings very little offense, and this could result in a lot of standing around while Much hoists up shots. No thanks. Much seems like a guy you bring in off the bench for defensive intensity and hustle, but you can't feature him on offensive if we want better ball movement. Rountree is a defender and a guy you dump the ball off too as a surprise occassionaly.

I hope Cluess resists the temptation to just play six guys tonight to pull out a W. We need to develop 8-9 guys who can contribute. We also need for AJ, IW, and Sed not to be walking wounded come March.

We didn't see much of him vs. Valpo, but he's got the size and leadership we need, but I couldn't tell enough about his game.....

Team flew to Portland then took a bus to Corvallis. Video & practice today. Valpo invites opponents to spend a moment of reflection together after an event. They blocked so many shots it should have been a moment of Deflection. That is some mid-season, jockeying for seeding-level humor. Well done.

We were a highly offense team which always average about 80 points a game...It was highly entertaining basketball...Somehow it seems to have been assumed that we should concentrate on defense...Our offense was pathetic as we scored 58 points with our outside shooting almost non-existent and very little if any assists...It is not the type basketball that elevated our reputation but has now led us into ''Fish or Fowl'' land... English was lost in a maze...Casimer became a robot following directions...Amayo appeared rusty which is getting to be a habit...Williams was totally confused as if he was wondering if he was still with Iona...And Roundtree exposed why he has averaged about 3 point a game over 3 years...Others were just as confused... Lets get back to what we were...If on occasion we get beat let it be a game that will at least uphold the reputation we have deservedly earned...

Guys are underestimating Rountree. Good leadership good fundamentals Getting adjusted to softer mid-level officiating and new rules interpretations.

Agree, I think it's bush that some think he should ride pine with the other shrubs. The grass is always greener. Some of these guys are truly saps. I hope he doesn't leaf us.

As far as I can see he's put down roots here. He'll need tough bark to handle criticism. [/quote Those that are critical of Roundtree's basketball ability have a perfect right to do so particular of those that have a monetary gain from it...The courts have upheld the right to be critical of their ability in the particular sport they participate...This is a sports fan right which has been upheld in courts throughout the Nation...To stray into personal unfounded attacks is another story... Over the many years I have booed the best, and I will continue to do so when deserving particular those that are at 23-24 years of age or better who are still called youngsters and cannot withstand deserving criticism..... As to Roundtree...I will continue to root hard for him and promise to be first if my sport analysis hopefully proves wrong to apologize... Oh for those days we could tell each others ''You Stink'' and after the game have a friendly beer with them who instead of feeling insulted went out and practice to improve.......But that is a lost generation with no relation to todays ''Tender Toes'' and those that encourage them.....
