Lo Hud Varsity Sports is reporting that three MAAC staffs (Rider, Siena and Quinnipiac) attended yesterday's game between Hayes and Stepinac. Stepinac won, 72-62, and I'm guessing that they might be after Chemize (Sp?) of Stepinac, although I know nothing about the Hayes team.

Supposedly, Akinjo was not involved with the legal issues along with the other kids that transferred from Georgetown. I believe they released a statement. Having said that there is zero chance for Iona. He's going high major and was at the Gonzaga-Arizona game last night. The transfer list is already up over 40 kids. Will be interesting to see if Iona is linked to any over the next few weeks

This kid is from Oakland so I suspect he will end up somewhere on the west coast.

Well anyway it's interesting that Roland Griffin hasn't played, wonder if he is still there? He may need a waiver or has to sit in residence. Being seperated from a program does not give you the ability to play. You are supposed to sit in residence at the school you have transferred to or you push for a waiver to play right away. For this very reason, I am shocked that he did not go NAIA as Nico Clareth did after leaving Nicholls State. Roland Griffin played his first game at Jackson State last night. Appears he sat out first semester. Scored 17 points, 9 rebounds against non division 1 Southeastern Baptist College, playing 22 minutes. Jackson State is terrible at 2-8 with no Div 1 wins. Interesting to see if he makes much of a difference.

EP, a great post. If I wasn't so down (after the Princeton game) I would have commented sooner. Now if you could only get VC to remove the story.................
