Pitino right now claiming these 6 are his only recruits. My gut still says 1 doesn’t work out and 2 kids leave and we fill with 2 grad transfers. He may want some hold over seniors both for some continuity, experience and so he can replace them next year with high rated guys he feels he can land after a full year of recruiting. We will see. Well, remember we did take 1 extra.

Glad Iona didn't get Murphy. Would have cut into the minutes of the young guards like Chavez, Myers and Jeanlouis and quite frankly Ross is just as good a shooter.

Figured this would happen With bigs Shema, Crafoord and Joseph committed, is Ousmane someone the staff should pursue again? Just don't see the fit at this point. Ousmane and Joseph are similar type players. Don't forget R. Brown who will have 2 years remaining as well and at 6'9'' and athletic appears to fit the Pitino system. IF the staff was to bring in another recruit I would think/hope it's a athletic G/F kid. Also a numbers crunch with already having 14 kids, which means either 1 kid is leaving or like Guy? posted 1 new recruit might not make it on campus. As of now there are 5 seniors on the roster and quite honestly I hope they all return, not only for their talent and experience, but that will give Pitino 5 open scholarships to play with for the '21 recruiting class. Just by the couple "21 offers that we know of he's going after big time kids going up against the big boys. The more available scholarships the better. Just my opinion.

Good point, the one red flag is that URI is supposedly the 2nd program he has decommitted from. Now if Woodrich were to change his mind I would go pack his bags for him...lol

I agree with your desire to look for an athletic wing, maybe an Isaiah William's type.

The recruits we have landed look very solid. If we can land Ousmane, he would be another bigger body who could really blossom under our HOF coach, but obviously he was looking to go to a bigger conference, which is understandable. Having Ross stay is a real plus, a much better and bigger bodied athlete than the Pitt transfer and I believe he could really improve his overall game this year. Should be an interesting year!
