Well this is interesting. Doing a little Twitter research the staff appears to still be active with '20 recruits, when on paper Iona is already 1 over the limit.

Carlos Rosario - 6'7" SF out of Santo Domingo, DR via Veritas Prep (CA). a 4★ recruit. Was in the class of 2020 but apparently has reclassified to 2021. Ranked (247) as the 11th best recruit in California, just ahead of Jaylen Clark (UCLA), Chibuzo Agbo Jr. (Texas Tech) and just behind Ian Martinez (Utah).
Offers from Mississippi State, Washington State, Montana State, Cal State Fullerton, Boise State, Loyola Marymount, San Diego, GCU & Pacific.
Scouting Report: "Creative scorer with 7-foot wingspan is equally effective slashing to the cup to score as well as spotting up from the perimeter." - Dinos Trigonis, Nothing But Net - 2019 Veritas Global Combine Recap- July 6, 2019
"Ranked 7th - Dominican Republic native is a long wing with a very versatile skill set that includes deep 3-point range. " - Dinos Trigonis, Nothing But Net - West Coast “Best Available” 2020 Prospects - January 19, 2020 * * Ranked above Jaden Jones (Rutgers).
Wow this is really confusing. If we're still making these offers it has to mean some of the players aren't returning or some commits have backed out....right?? Or I'm missing something.

Offered by Depaul few weeks ago. This kid is as athletic than Jean-Louis, with a good handle and good perimeter shooter. Get this kid!!...lol

Cluess’s teams always lost 2 or 3 guys, and 1 or 2 commits never showed. Pitino won’t lose as many but no way we don’t lose one or two from last year and at least one commit, especially in the craziness of the current world.
Side note so cool to hear from oldtimer, a positive note in a depressing time!
Khalil Shaheed - 6'4" PG out of Georgia. 3★ recruit (247). Had committed to Evansville in December but then had a change of heart.
Offers from DePaul, James Madison, Florida Atlantic, Stetso, Bethune Cookman, Alabama A&M, Evansville, and Kansas City. Interest from UNLV, Elon, Ole Miss, Central Florida, FIU, USF, Appalachian State, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, Nebraska and UAB,
Scouting Report: "The strong-bodied guard had himself a weekend. At 6-foot-3 and built like a middle linebacker, Shaheed powered his game into the chest of defenders as they squared up with him. He took his game right at them and opened the floor up for his talented teammates. Shaheed has always been sneaky good at our events over the years and this stage may have been the start in what could be (and should be) his recruitment surge. Shaheed has the motor to be a two-way disruptor. He had a productive year at Superior Collegiate in Clearwater, FL and his travel season is off to a hot start; Shaheed’s recruitment is low-major/mid-major focused right now. Schools in the mid-major realm and even some high majors could end April with him on their respective priority lists." - Justin Young - Hoop Seen- BUSY SUMMER FOR KHALIL SHAHEED, VISIT TOUR IN FULL FORCE - June 13, 2019
"The 6-foot-3-point guard and Georgia native, Khalil Shaheed, is certainly starting to figure things out in terms of his game. He is another prospect that I felt stood out last weekend in Spartanburg and played consistently well this past weekend in his home state. Shaheed plays downhill and will always be in attack mode when the ball is in his hands. He can make plays offensively or defensively and impacts the game in his own way. Finishing at the rim and getting to the basket looks effortless at times for him. Shaheed could be a real steal for a next-level program." - Hoop Hustlers - 2019 TIP-OFF CLASSIC RECAP
Tyrus Baynham Jr. - out of Nashville. Son of former Middle Tennessee star Ty Baynham Sr. averaged 28pts, 7 reb, per game. Offers from Temple, Tennessee State, WKU, UAB, Troy, SEMO, Southern Illinois, UT Martin and UT Arlington. Interest from Marquette, Fordham and Coastal Carolina.
Scouting Report: "This Nashville native immediately catches your eye with his explosive leaping ability and length. Always lurking for a crowd-pleasing put-back dunk or a nasty block in transition. His floor game has improved and his shooting is getting better. The 6-foot-6 wing won’t have any issues making the physical transition into the college game. " - Andre Whitehead - Hoop Seen - TENNESSEE STORY STARTERS FROM THE 2019 BOB #GIBBONS TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS - May 24, 2019
"Tyrus was a late addition to camp but quickly stood out due to the fact that he an edgy competitor that plays with a lot of passion. There was no doubt he was confident in his game, and it didn’t take long to see why. He could score from all levels with good consistency, is skilled with the ball, and made blowing by defenders look effortless. He is an extremely good athlete and showcased it with several dunks in transition and a couple of drop step dunks in the post. He is definitely a player we look forward to seeing more." - Next Up Recruits - 2019 Elite Exposure Camp Official Recap - 07/07/2019

Could this be the curse of “The University”?
Hard to believe a recruit actually shows up when they don’t know the name of the school.

With most high schools and JUCOs closed across the country, my assumption is that many athletes may not have sufficient credits to meet the NCAA or individual college requirements. If so some of the 2020 players may be forced into the class of 2021. JUCO players may also be left short of their requirements. Don't know if the NCAA is giving any extra leeway given the circumstances. And, if so, can the colleges be more accomodative without jeopardizing the athlete's education or the college APR.
