Scouting Reports:
"The 6’5 rising junior only played one game at the event due to soreness in his knee, but that one game against Team Parsons was more than enough to show why he is a top 25 player nationally in the 2021 Class. Cardet’s first bucket was a slashing baseline drive that he completed in traffic and he kept rolling from there. He proved difficult to contain off the dribble and after the defense started playing off of him, Cardet knocked down perimeter shots. Most impressive were a pair of threes off the dribble that were both tightly contested. Dishing some assists, getting after rebounds on the offensive glass and playing passionate defense all contributed to a very good outing for Cardet." - Rick Staudt- Source Hoops - Grassroots Summer Showdown Standouts: Rpt II - July 23, 2019
"Wesley is the rare jumbo guard that shifts gears smoothly with the ball, has outstanding vision, perimeter shotmaking ability and the athleticism to finish with authority at the rim." - Endless Motor - UNDERVALUED GUARD WESLEY CARDET PRIMED FOR BIG SUMMER, GOES IN-DEPTH ON GAME AND RECRUITMENT- May 5, 2020

Scouting Reports:
"Vying with Elijah Jones for the top player in the camp Nixon was surprisingly quiet in one of the games I watched and by that I mean he was effective scoring the ball, rebounding it, passing it and defending it but not showing off his immense athleticism. He made smart plays all day long and only occasionally did he make the spectacular play with a take-off from the wing slam with a defender hanging on for dear life type of highlight. He possesses excellent athleticism that allows him to operate down low with a lethal first jump to either score it or rebound the ball and he can step outside and knock down some jumpers with a smooth stroke and decent accuracy. He is a good passer who threads the rock to open teammates with some zip on it but at times he can try to force the action leading to turnovers and spotty play. Defensively he was on target playing straight-up man he controlled his opponent forcing him to reverse dribble and give up the ball on quite a few occasions and he was a demon in the open floor grabbing errant passes and stripping weak ball handlers. He was more under control here than when I saw him at Future All American in August, and he was very good there, but he was more efficient here while toning down the skywalker act and making sound basketball decisions throughout the day." - Chick Gillispie - PhenomHoopsReport - Pt. 4 City of Basketball Love underclass exposure camp:- Nov 27, 2018
"Nixon is coming to the Hill School from NY where he ran with the PSA Cardinals organization and he certainly impressed with his showing here. He had a nice compact shooting motion with range out to the arc. He could handle the ball in pressure situations and use his tight dribble to create on strong drives to the hole or to go to the pull-up jumper when cut off. I only got to see him in one game but he played with positive energy making plays not only for himself but also for his teammates. He proved to be a fine passer with a few assists in the contest I took in. his rebounding skills were good as he has decent hops and he has good timing to seek out missed shots coming off the rim. He’s very athletic and doesn’t shy away from his defensive responsibilities getting up on his opponents and forcing them to make something happen. He looks like a young man who can earn some minutes for the Rams this season and start to build up his reputation moving forward for recruiting purposes plus I liked him more than some guys who made the Top 20 game." - Chick Gillispie - PhenomHoopsReport -Hoop Group Future All American Camp pt.1- Aug 17, 2018
"One of the most physically advanced prospects in attendance, possessing a muscular and athletic 6-foot-6 frame as a true perimeter player, Nixon was able to score seemingly at will for most of the day. Nixon is extremely skilled with the ball in his hands, possessing the handle of a player several inches smaller, and used his craftiness and athleticism to the lane on just about every possession. Most important for his projection to the next level, Nixon showed that he’s continuing to improve his jump shot, knocking down threes both off the catch and the dribble. Also a high-level student, Nixon has earned his way to the high-major radar already and has the look early on of a potential national-level recruit" - City of Basketball Love - CoBL Underclassman Camp Standouts - 10/10/2018
its a shame none of these highlight comps ever show much passing which is probably the best part of his game but this one does show his range and quick release pretty well if you guys want to get a look

Looks extremely talented. Did Pitino re-offer? What other schools are involved?
