Ikechi Chantilou - 6'5" SG- Plays for Team Loaded DC AAU and Life Christian School. VISAA DIVISION III All-State First Team selection. Originally went to George Wythe High School where current Providence player, Maliek White, attended and his coach felt that Ikechi was more advanced as a sophomore then White was at the same stage. was a Hoop Group Elite 2016 Fab Frosh All-Star selection, In addition to the scholarships mentioned in other posts was also reported to have interest from VCU and Oklahoma State. Led his team to a state championship this past season.
Scouting Reports: "The smoothest player in the gym on Wednesday, it’s something I’ve become accustomed to seeing each time I come across Chantilou. His finesse in finishing around the rim works consistently and he should absolutely emerge as one of the team’s most lethal in transition. Proving himself as a knock-down shooter still has some touching up to do for the 6’4” wing but he’s still an above-average SCORER. I saw this in my first viewing of him last December when he played for George Wythe High School (Richmond, VA). Facing St. Christopher’s School (Richmond, VA) in the ‘Times-Dispatch Invitational’ tournament’s consolation round, Chantilou dropped a game-high 22 points (most of which came in the second half) to bring his team back to victory; one of the best second-half performances I saw from a player last season. A 2019 second-team Class 3 all-state selection in the VHSL, who has a strong next-level promise." -Keion Robinson, 2019 Phenom Hoops High School Open Gym Tour: Life Christian Academy- Sep 12, 2019
"Life Christian Academy; Boys (Chester, VA): Most local folks know all about Chantilou’s finesse around the rim and it stayed on full display for the duration of his first official appearance as a Life Christian member. When it came down to crunch time in Meadowbrook’s comeback, the Eagles kept giving the ball to their 6’4” guard/wing and he constantly delivered. Chantilou’s one of the better Richmond prospects at getting downhill that I’ve scouted over the past year. He’s not otherworldly fast but indeed uses a quick first step and body control to act as a nightmare in transition. The way he gets to the rim and his scoring spots looks completely smooth and effortless. I also really like his ball-handling abilities, which mainly helps in how he slices past defenders whenever they reach. I still need to grasp a good feel for the junior’s shooting ability; his game often doesn’t rely on that skill." Keion Robinson, 2019 Meadowbrook HS Fall League; Week 1 Recap - Sep 16, 2019
"Ikechi Chantilou can flat out score! He can knock down the jumper with range, hit the mid-range jumper, score at the rim and do it all while making it look effortless! He is a long and crafty ball-handler and has the explosiveness and the ability to also decelerate under control and score or use combination dribble moves to keep defenders off balance. Ikechi has a great motor and as hard as he plays on the offensive end he matches that effort with a dogging defensive effort. He is a tough and harassing on-ball defender and shows excellent anticipation and ability to break on a pass and get steals out of help defense. He rebounds especially on the defensive end and can get from end to end quickly. Ikechi has outstanding athleticism and advanced skill, he is certainly one of the top freshman we have seen throughout the summer and fall. College coaches should add him to their watch list, he has the potential and the intangibles to be one of the state’s best prospects!" - Name To Know: 6’1 2020 Ikechi Chantilou (George Wythe HS, VA) - Oct 26, 2016
"kechi is a tremendous athlete and has the ability to take over a game. Watching him compete even against other top players in his age group it just looks like it comes easy to him. He is very skilled and has all the tools to be an elite varsity player. He has an array of moves on offense and defensively brings so much energy. Ikechi is literally a one-man fast break. The ceiling is unlimited for Ikechi. – Coach Richard Mason “Dip”, Boo Williams AAU - Oct 26, 2016
"Freshman Ikechi Chantilou made a big mark on the high school season as the sixth man with a George Wythe team that reached the 3A State Semifinals. He’s continued that level of play so far this summer with BWSL Dip, and he’s only starting to scratch the surface as a player. In his 21 point outing in an overtime win over Cecil Kirk, Chantilou showed that he can play on or off the basketball and get easy baskets either way. He has a deadly right to left crossover, good size that allows him to finish in the paint and a solid pull up game. At 6’2”, he already has a good frame and will only get better moving forward." - Jack Herron, Notebook: Hoop Group Pitt JamFest (VA) - Prep Hoops - 05/2/17

Kenard Richardson - 6'4" SG - Pays for Life Christian School and Team Loaded DC. He is reported to be a great scorer who can get to the hoop or shoot the jumper. He is also is a strong defender and a very good athlete. Earned VISAA DIVISION III All-State First Team and POY honors.
"Hard work done on both his game and body led to a great summer by Richardson, as he put on strong performances each and every time I saw him play for Team Loaded DC 17u. At 6’4,” the wing slashes his way to the rim at an unstoppable rate…I’d easily classify him as one of Richmond’s best attackers, no question. However, an improved jumper over the last two months has expanded his game better in his shot-making. He handles it well enough to create space and made plenty of pull-up jumpers from range during full-court runs on Wednesday. In Richmond’s most recent back-to-back showcases, ‘ASSIST 804 Top 48’ and ‘ASSIST William L. Carter’s Back to School Classic,’ Richardson won MVP for both. He has an extremely competitive edge, thinks the game solidly, and won a Virginia High School League (VHSL) Class 5 state championship during the 2017-18 season at Varina High School (Henrico, VA). That winning mindset will fit right in." Keion Robinson, 2019 Phenom Hoops High School Open Gym Tour: Life Christian Academy- Sep 12, 2019
"Richardson plays with tenacity on the floor, consistently attacking and using his size and versatility to create for himself. He also can get after it on the boards as well. Richardson has a motor that coaches will like and can get it done on both ends." - Patrick O'Brien, VISAA semi-final standouts-Feb 28, 2020
"Kenard is a matchup nightmare for opponents, he’s too big and strong for guards to cover and too quick for most forwards. Kenard will give you a non stop motor on offense but will also guard the opponents best player no matter what position and shut them down! One of his best skills is reading offenses and playing the passing lanes. Last year Kenard led Enoch Middle School in Henrico County in scoring, rebounding and steals while also maintaining a 3.4gpa. He is attending Varina HS this year where he will start as a freshman on a team with four Division I prospects on their roster on a team many pick to win the state championship." - AAU Coach Evaluation - Name To Know: 2020 6’3 Kenard Richardson (Varina HS, VA) - Oct 14, 2016

Ikechi is my favorite recruit so far
There is less info out there on Kenard Richardson but he was actually the State POY for Div 3 hoops. Both are reported to be very athletic, can score at will and are tough defenders... just what Pitino wants.
6-6 G RJ Keene from Concordia Lutheran in Texas offered by Iona. 2-star recruit also holds offers from Sam Houston, Steven F Austin and Incarnate Word.
The greatest poster in the history of the MAAC as determined by THREE separate polls.
RJ Keene - SG/SF out of from Concordia Lutheran (TX) and Houston Hoops AAU Son of Richard Keene, who played at Illinois. He has limited offers due to the AAU season being postponed/eliminated as many people expected Keene to be one of the rising prospects in the Nike EYBL this year. Can shoot the three and get to the hoop. Has good court vision and a high hoops IQ. Shot 41% this year from the three. Earned 2019-20 All-Greater Houston boys basketball team (Private school) honors.
Holds offers' from Sam Houston, Steven F Austin and Incarnate Word. Interest from Iowa, Texas A&M, Rice, Baylor, North Texas, Santa Clara, Princeton, Purdue, Creighton, BYU, Oral Roberts, UTEP and Oklahoma. Already has taken unofficial visits to Baylor, Purdue, and Texas A&M.
Scouting Reports:
"Keene is a skilled forward who can put the ball on the floor and get to the basket. Once he enters the lane, Keene uses some spring around the rim and finishes. He is a good size prospect with the ability to stretch the floor to hit the three. He also uses his dribble well to get to open spots to hit the mid-range jumper." - TexasHoops.com’s Baseline Views
"Keene has made a name for himself by shooting the ball well but is now showcasing that he is a threat off the dribble as well. Incarnate is the first to offer the shooting guard. With his continued high-level play, more will follow. Keene recently posted a career-high 39 points letting everyone know that he hasn't lost his touch." - Vype Houston
Not yet, though if he was able to play AAU this summer it's likely a few would have offered, plus HM programs from other conferences. Great chance to steal higher level recruits with AAU season hit hard.
Iona has re-offered 3-Star recruit, Gabe Wiznitzer:
Current offers: Clemson, DePaul, Xavier, WV, Providence, East Carolina, GWU, LSU, Nebraska, Penn State, SJU, TCU, USF, Stetson, Old Dominion & Marist, Looks from Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Florida, Purdue and Minnesota.
He is a very good student with a 3.9 GPA Said recently "If the right opportunity comes, I could go 2020." He does not want to redshirt if he goes in 2020. He could play right away at the MAAC level but most of the BCS teams will want him to redshirt. .
