I'd go with Atlantic City or Nassau, since neither have hosted, though I don't hold out much hope that either will be successful, attendance wise. If you didn't have to play on Siena's home court, Albany is the only site that generates much local interest. From a selfish travel point of view, Bridgeport is best, but their support of non-UCONN BB is nil.

From a selfish travel point of view, Bridgeport is best... Nassau is closer to Iona than Bridgeport. Yes, there's potential for a traffic nightmare, but you have that with I-95 too.

Nassau would generate the most fans I think. There are a lot of local Alumni for the metro schools from Long Island. And the one thing about Long Island people I have learned since moving there.. is that they don't like leaving Long Island!

Let's just say that the final is Iona - Manhattan. Those are the two closest schools to Nassau. How many fans show up at the final?

If the MAAC tourney final was Iona vs Manhattan in Nassau, about 3500.

Fordham vs Iona 1984 had over 7,000 at the meadowlands, but it was a Saturday. I say 5,000.
