Had last checkup by surgeon last Thursday...all xrays show hip is healing fine...hoping for a return to SUNRISE home in about a week. Surprised to find my surgeon, Dr. Zambetti, played for Fordham back under Digger Phelps as a 6-6 strong forward known as Big Z. He was just as surprised to meet an old time fan with basketball knowledge.
Am feeling better each day and am looking forward to coming season. If we happen to meet at any home games, say Hello...might just renew a forgotten friendship...
In a quick study of coming season, find it be probably will one of the hardest in predictable value during Cluess regime, and one with a surprise or two in store...!!!

While watching early morning golf it brought back memories covering about 80 years of plying the links...During that time I was fortunate to make 4 holes in 1...The one I was most proud of was the one I made on a par 4 298 yarder...It was made at the old 18 hole at Pelham CC aided by a hill that rolled down to the green...
Since my stroke 7-8 years ago I have missed golf the most and the good times we had...I Must have played over 1,ooo rounds in my lifetime...I made 4 holes in one during that period...The one I am most proud is on a 298 par 4 made years ago aided by a downward roll towards the green...It was at a now forgotten 18th hole at Pelham Country Club...
