Might as well post this here. I think Van Eyck is going to be a very good MAAC Player.

Every year the pre season looks like we have too many players and not enough minutes, as usual it looks like that again. You wonder how this will all workout. Give it two months and someone will get hurt, someone will quit and someone will end up in the Cluess doghouse and we will be left with A 9 player rotation. However this year it looks like whichever 9 that is this team can still be pretty damn good.

I am not trying to be negative at all. Agee, Thiam, Van Eyck, Ristanovic, big Serbian kid whose name I can't remember ... How does this work in a four-guard offense? I think we're going to see something new. Excited!!!

The ones who don’t play and we won’t see in 2020/21

Two things:
1. If I counted correctly we have 12 scholarship players on the roster. 2. One of the 12 hasn't been cleared to play this season.
So we have to keep our fingers crossed on injuries and waivers.

He was on campus during summer and when semester started, yes. Left to play in this tourney, will be back on campus next week.

Hard to believe that the NCAA hasn't made a ruling on Washingtons eligibility this late in the game. Don't know what goes into the decision making but you would think it's pretty clear cut. How does Thiam get his results but not Washington? crazy

A Depaul kid JUST heard today he's been cleared, just broke on twitter within past hour. NCAA clearly taking its time with this stuff.

So now that it's official and Iona has a very poor OOC schedule, it's time to move on. Only missing piece is the official word on Washington's waiver. Trying to make this OOC schedule interesting, the key would be having a 4-0 record headed into the game at UCONN. The UCONN game is very winnable. They have some solid players but are still in a bit of rebuilding mode. Iona should beat Princeton at the Barclay's center setting up the possibility of going to Colorado at 6-0. Quite frankly that's the only way to get any buzz from OOC. Anything less than 5-2 would be really bad
