COACH CLUESS HAS FOUGHT THE GOOD BATTLE BUT HAS LOST.....HEIGHT has stymyied his stardom for the past 9 years...Every time he has met it with insufficient amounts he has succombed...BUT.....He appears now ready to give into it and meet the problem head on...His recruiting has now given Height a major role...We will enter this season with a possibility of others to come with a great start to alleviate this disavantage...
It will no doubt cause problems to adjust, but if we want to meet the BIG BOYS on more even terms this is the right approach...
GOOD LUCK TIM.....And to all you NAYSAYERS---PATIENCE PLEASE....OT

If Thiam gets the waiver (seems less likely now than last week) this could be Iona's best frontcourt in many years. Also good to see you back on this board, OT!

Seems odd to title a thread "Cluess biggest problem" when all he's done is win, then call out "naysayers" at the end of your post.

Actually, I feel a little bit more hope that Thiam gets his waiver, after reading about the legislative waiver process concerning kids who were run off. After noticing NMS is still over the scholarship limit, there is a good chance there were issues there and there recruiting. Can't think of any other reason to apply for a legislative waiver. Time will tell

Guy, could you change the title of the thread, from Cluess to Cluess'? Cheap shots aside.

Well just reading it, I took it as if a kid is "run off", and the AD is willing to write a letter to the NCAA stating that Thiam wouldn't have a scholarship available to him next year then the legislative waiver would be granted. Just my interpretation. Don't recall the staff offering many sit one, play one recruits in the past, so maybe the staff is confident NMS will work with Thiam and Iona?

59......Thanks, but I can handle my own battles...Several years ago I surmised that Guy for some reason would challenge every post I submitted...If any doubt, a quick review of past posts will lead to no other conclusion...After time went by I came to the conclusion that he viewed me as a threat to his control...I have not reached the age of 94 and lived the life I lived to not understand its personalities...I have seldom answered Guy's posts to avoid the 'PISSING MATCH' that would soon follow....I also learned years ago that ''kissing ass'' is not my style... OT

OT, you might be able to fight your own battles, but while I was in the Army, and not the Marines, I did learn that you have to have your friend's back. Don't mean to insult you.
