I think it’s a HUGE stretch to think we will be undefeated going into Colorado. Gotta believe we will drop one of UConn, LaSalle or Princeton. Don't think we will, but its possible. I actually predicted us to go 4-3 in OOC, lose to CT. and Colorado and one more upset loss. 16-4 in Maac, 20-7, but I am being conservative right now, after we maul the power Mt St. Vincent Saturday, I may be revising to 30-0! That's the Joe that I'm proud of! (Ends sentence with a preposition )

We all have to elevate our game now. Let’s gooooooo!!!

Painful to read this thread now. It was painful to me all along. Just because it didn’t age well doesn’t mean it was a bad thread. This is the whole nature and spirit of a fan message board — speculate, gripe, dream, opine, etc.

And to be fair, we don't know what would have happened had Tim been here all along. Although I poo-pooed the idea of the thread at the time, the fact is the spirit of the topic was neither correct nor incorrect, since we did not experience things with Tim.

Tim comes back before MAAC play 2-5, 15-5, 3-0, 20-10 and we are a dangerous 15 or 16

We haven’t played a game yet and have to see if this squad has a cohesive team chemistry. My question: When we look back after the season is over, how will this squad compare to the 1998 team. Equal? Better? Below? Curious to hear your predictions. Hahaha, what a joke!

Why don’t YOU go back and look at the pre-season thread regarding the expectations from Jelly, Thiam, Van Eyck, Ross, McNeil, etc. They were all touted as the best thing since sliced bread and it hasn’t panned out. In a separate thread both Sharkey and Hat mention the unrealized expectations of our newcomers. I merely started a thread that stated better, equal, or below. You could have voted accordingly then.

Yeah, this recruiting class has been a bust so far. Didn't notice him on the stream but was McNeil at the game? Pretty sure because Cashaw played last game he can no longer redshirt. That's a good thing. Looks like Iona is facing a long couple of years as TC has to rebuild the program. Looking at the roster, it's quite possible only Ross and Van Eyck return. Might see 9-10 new kids next year. Rebuild has to begin with a new assistant coach who can recruit locally.

Java, sorry!..not intended to be directed at you in anyway. I'm just dismayed and disgusted at the poor performance so far and chuckling at this group....being the farthest thing from a "Team".
