I have no reason to believe we'll stay in this game. Hated being right about this.

With the team playing this bad and him still not getting in, I would have to say he is buried 6 feet deep in the doghouse!

Awful play from Iona today.
At this point, if Cluess does not return this season. I’m hoping we win 10 games. We really are that bad. I cannot see Arnold being able to turn this around.

Nice job by Ross with 17--2 good games in a row:

And Agee and Crawford combine for 13 of them. Just ridiculous.

Now I see why Cashaw not playing, he doesn’t turn it over and plays decent d, but he plays too slow and can’t create his own shot. Looks like a d-2 player.
Agee not the same since he hurt his ankle against UConn. Never shoots the 3 anymore which is perplexing.
Team has gotten worse.
You could have made a lot of money by betting against Iona every game.
Arnold has no chance to right the ship, and even Cluess would need a miracle to turn this around.
Looking like our worst season since Rulands last year.

Can we please stop the talk about Iona having, by far, the most talent in the MAAC? The game became unwatchable. I was switching back and forth to the Rider-Siena game and the intensity and level of play was on a different level.
Praying for Cluess to get healthy and just recruit, forget coming back to coach. This team has zero leadership. With any luck next Friday night's game at Rider will be knocked off of ESPNU, it's going to be ugly

Agee must learn he can not back in and put the ball on the floor when double teamed. Just one of so many things wrong with this team at this time.

I don’t understand why Cashaw was not playing previously unless he was injured? Let’s see if this kid can play the point, gist is not the answer!!!! Wish we could try one of the other coaches as head coach because I just don’t think Arnold can lead this team. The other coaches are FAAAR less qualified than Arnold. We were VERY spoiled to have Grasso. We are seeing it with the recruiting dropoff and we are seeing it here vs how Grasso is turning Bryant around. Recruiting drop off. Huh?

Huh? 05 this years newcomers are turning out to be very disappointing. Think how bad next years team will be without Agee and Crawford. Need to bring in at least 4 quality starters, That’s not easy to do. There has been a significant drop off the last 2-3 years. Everyone is hyped and almost all of them turn out worse than touted.

Agreed, this recruiting class has been a bust so far. Total rebuild for next season.

I mentioned in the chat room my utter disbelief that point spread was “pick em” for this game. I don’t gamble but should have loaded up the wheel barrel and bet on Monmouth. Obvious pick.

Tidbits: *Both Agee and Crawford get an F because of the 13 TO's. And Crawford's defense (lack there of) and Agee's few rebounds solidify their grades. *I understand why people could be down on Cashaw, because he does look lost on offense. And he makes his teammates look bad because he actually plays defense. Might have been a good idea for the coaches to have played him during the OOC schedule. Unless they were worried about losing to Colorado by 50 instead of 45. That could be the reason. *I asked this question a few weeks back, but was told that the refs were still calling it. Yes, I'm talking about the NO FLOPPING rule. Van Eyck slightly touches a Monmouth player who falls about five feet backwards. Foul on Dylan. *I'm sure one of Coach Arnold's index cards reads, "When we fall behind by 15, call a TO". *King Rice knows how to work those refs. His constant chatter contributed to the 27-19 foul differential. And the flagrant foul on Mo Thiam. "Long Live The King". *Friday night's game is supposed to be on ESPNU. Wonder if it will be moved to ESPN3? *JMO, but SPU looks better than Monmouth.
