I think we win by 7 or 8 Gaels get it done tonight with some good defensive stops & good overall field goal %

Curios to see what we do at the charity stripe that could be key. Go Gaels Our opponents at Hynes are 38-74 from three. (51.3%) . Really tough to win giving up those numbers.

I usually don't say this, but I have a good feeling about tonight's game. I think our offense clicks a little better tonight.

thehat, I think you might be right. But 1997, while I hope you're correct, but think it's a reach to use Iona and good defense in the same sentence.

I posted this on the Niagara thread, you are highly likely not to win no matter who you are playing, if you allow opponents to shoot like this from deep. Hopefully this week the coaches emphasized this in practice. Maybe we can improve and hold Fairfield to under 40%, is that asking too much? I don’t want to get crazy and hope for a normal under 35%!

Seems like almost every game this year the opponent hits a 3 on their first shot attempt.

1:34 and 3 point lead and Agee is holding the ball. Are you kidding me?

Then at :39.8, Agee gets a big basket. I like it and I hate it!

Nice win!
Glad that Mo and Van Eyck played meaningful minutes. Great job making Taliefero a non factor. Baby steps with this team. I think Arnold did a much better job, especially in the second half with the sub pattern. Agee and Jelly seemed to make big plays in clutch situations. Interesting that Arnold decided to go with Van Eyck the final 4 mins, as opposed to Ross or Mo. I think his hustle and energy earlier in the game, earned him those minutes. Hopefully the team can keep the momentum going against Marist on Sunday.

A win is a win. Van Eyck and Thiam provide production and energy off the bench. Nice job by Arnold playing the guys contributing and playing the bench.
GREAT to see the smiles on the guys faces after the game. Rest up and get the win at Marist Sunday and get back in the hunt. Both Siena and Rider lost tonight.

Nice win for the Gaels. Home or not, Faifield's a decent team. Hopefully a jumping off point. We'll see.
