This should have been done better, maybe give the players something?anything? Best moment in Iona history!!! Pic of scoreboard? Basketballs with score? All ex players were invited, how many showed? If Iona basketball can't support Iona basketball why do we think Westchester should? How much was this game publicized outside of the Iona family? I guess its the same people publicizing jelly to get people to the game Great game, great win bad halftime event Not sure what arrangements are made for seating players families, but Kevin Hamilton’s wife and granddaughter were in Sect. 5 and had to move their seats a couple of times when ticket holders came late. Also, Mr. Van Eyck and two children (who traveled from abroad) were seated top row, middle of aisle in Sect. 5 also. Wouldn’t it make sense to seat such guests, family members who do not get to too many games, in a more guest appropriate section. In certain circumstances it might even be more fitting to escort them to their seats.

Iona family has grown way beyond New Rochelle. Another missed opportunity. At least someone was on the ball. Thank you Ken for sharing this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6840OsDY3M

Good job by Ken Kraetzer. Ken is one of the best to follow on Twitter for Iona info, his specialty is the post game news conference. Not many left who cover Iona, mostly just daily dose and kraetzer.

We have to thank IC59 and his alumni friend, Rich, for providing the video for the gathering. No better fan or friend of Iona basketball.

EP, thanks. Watching some of the video at the reception, I was reminded of a couple of things: 1. Mickey Crowley was one of the refs. 2. Red Auerbach was at the game. And the guy sitting next to him (Bill Russell?) looked familiar, but not sure who he was. Anyone see that part?
