Feel bad for Arnold ? Why? C’mon he friggin stinks as a coach . Surprised he was ever appointed the reigns. Yes he was dealt a tough situation but is clueless not Cluess CLUELESS Back in April he was our #2 assistant. Then Eaton gets a job elsewhere and Cluess gets whatever and suddenly he's in the big boy chair. I know he's done poorly, but he was also shifted 2 seats over in just a few months. I just can't put the blame on him.

Agee and Crawford did keep their TO's under ten (nine) so there's that. Our on court arguing between players was about average. Just another positive.

Will Perez hit a 3 before the season ends? My guess is no but if he does make one it would be a Hail Mary prayer banked off the board.

Two more things: 1. It was reported that we had nine scholarship players. Maybe, but I didn't see any. 2. Get ready for a release from the Athletic Dept. that they are hopeful that TC will be back soon.

Wow 14 points in the second half and I expect we haven’t seen the worst yet. I do feel bad for Arnold and the rest of the coaching staff as this has to be eating them up. That said I don’t know how you bring him and the other coaches back when it’s clear the players have no respect for them and are unwilling to put out any effort. Our program has fallen off a cliff and Cluess will have his hands full trying to rebuild it.

I’m having a hard time putting my figure on the one problem (probably because there are so many) that has caused this season to be an absolute disaster thus far. But if I had to pick just one it has to be lack of team chemistry. The absence of Cluess likely the reason for this. I don’t think you can say the talent level is the problem, when the team only graduated McGill last year. Not playing to potential is a more reasonable statement. McGill was a leader last year and willed his team to get better. He also made decisive plays in games when it mattered most. This promotes chemistry and without that type of player on this years team it’s unlikely to happen any time soon.
My list of issues with this team are as follows: Selfishness on offense... too much one on one. Lack of effort and focus on defense/rebounding Mental mistakes/poor decision making
If the team chemistry were better I think the above issues are not as serious
Call me crazy but I’m still holding out hope that we figure this out and can make a run in AC.

This game and team is not even worth talking about. Why beat ourselves up? We have more emotions and seem to care more than the players at this point... I post and vent on the advice of my therapist,

Guy -Arnold doesn’t have what it takes to even be an associate head coach. They should bring back a former player such as Kash Hameed or Mike. Glover next year. These 2 wouldn’t disappoint

There's a part of me that thinks Tim may not be interested in a complete rebuild, and walks away. Who can blame him?
If that happens, hire Tobin Anderson.

Yes he was dealt a tough situation but is clueless not Cluess CLUELESS I agree he really struggles as HC, but it's a huge jump from coaching JUCO to get thrown into the coaching duties without notice for a team picked to win the league. Add the pressure of stepping into the shoes of Cluess and he was placed into a impossible situation. Don't get me wrong he has been terrible but have to be somewhat fair. I agree the staff needs a shake up. To heavily dependent, as far as recruiting, with guys that don't have strong local connections. This also falls squarely on the players. You would think these guys would rally around Cluess and his health issues. Coach Cluess was on the phone with coach Mailhot at halftime of the Monmouth game, showing his support for the team and how much he cares and engaged with the team. The team thanks him by quitting on the season the next 2 games vs Siena and Manhattan. Zero pride and heart. They don't deserve having a great coach like Cluess return this season.

Arnold needs a fresh start elsewhere . It would be disgraceful to have him part of the team next season . In best interest . Why can’t we bring back a former player as assistant coach? Ex: Kash Hameed (who’s been in attendance a lot lately), Mike Glover, Jason Young(who coaches his kids games],

Greg, it is fitting that with Arnold we will be in a Pig game.

Cluess is the only saving grace. I’m confident he will rebuild the program and bring it back to the top. I say this knowing nothing of his health situation other than what he said about it not being life threatening. Hopefully his condition is not career threatening and he fully intends to return. The guy just refuses to lose.
