We have a new gym and 4 straight..... Let's not end up like Siena.... Unlike Siena, we also have ichoops. So there's that. P.S. Ross, I believe, was left off the recruits list.

I’ll watch Maac tourney but don’t want to be more devastated in the event we play poorly. Hope we do something magical though. But it’s tough to envision that based on play this season... I think it’s Monmouth who gets the automatic. Would be surprised if it’s someone else.

Agree we need to go after the unheralded kids. Under the radar. Like a Rickey McGill , EJ type. A PG like Jason Young would be great too. Let’s go search for HS kids under the radar. Had enough of these juco duds. Plenty of under the radar Hs kids across the country “wanting the opportunity to play D1 “

Grasso was an amazing recruiter, but also was known for finding diamonds in the rough — AJ, Armand, Casimir, EJ — all of these players were overlooked coming out of HS and turned out to be all-time recruits for us.***** This is everything for a program like ours. We need someone who finds these diamonds. It’s how it’s always worked for us...for 20-40 years. We need a grinder who finds diamonds through hard work and connections. Not sure we have that right now. Have to give a lot of credit to I59 who spotted Grasso as a young assistant at Fordham. He posted on the board that Grasso was an amazing recruiter long before anyone here even knew his name. We were very lucky that Fordham had no way of identifying a diamond.

Monmouth has height to match up with a top team in ncaa +some guys that can shoot the rock. They give us best shot to represent our conference well IMO

They give us best shot to represent our conference well IMO I don't disagree 97, but the whole Justin Robison/Bench Mob/Jordan Washington handshake line slap/king rice blowing kisses etc... era make it hard for me to root for Monmouth. If the final is Siena VS Monmouth, GO HAWKS!!!

Not diamonds in the rough, just good players who asked themselves “why the hell did I agree to play at Fordham”? Grasso was a diamond in the rough.
