Big thing for me for our team's success has been IW. He does a great job controlling the game. For example, when we need to slow the game down, he pulls it out to do so. He has limited our out of control 3 shooting. He does a great job finding the hot hand and putting players in a good position to make easy baskets.
Behind him in my opinion has been the play of Van Eyck. Battling down low and helping Agee out. His length, High IQ, and energy has been key along with stretching the floor. We have switched from going with 4 guards to a 2 guard lineup really. Even though Crawford can play guard, and many of you consider him a guard, he really is a forward.

Got to hand it to EJ! After the Manhattan lost, he said the team would figure it out. And he and Agee and the staff did. Fantastic seeing the team playing with confidence. Dylan is playing possessed and as Sharkey pointed out, with Jelly handling the ball you didn't notice Manhattan's press. Just hope our unsung heros, TC and Gist, heal fully.

No one has commented: only 10 three-point attempts before Weiss's three heaves in garbage time. Forty percent, not counting Weiss. There has been a lot of debate on this board about how many three's this team should be taking. We shot 67% from 2 not bad

There has been a lot of debate on this board about how many three's this team should be taking. I too think this is huge and could be seen in all of the elbow action run for EJ. Without actually counting, I’d say a good 25-30 plays were run this way. So much more effective for this team to run those plays in place of chucking 3s.

Manhattan's gameplan was to take away the 3. We will always shoot them when they're available.
Good job by the staff and team in adjusting to this and doing other things.

Yes but you need a guy like EJ to win games without 3’s, they aren’t easy to find.
