Credit to Dunne for a good defensive gameplan. But we simply didnt bring energy on either end early on in the game, and the foul trouble later on caused the collapse late in the half. Team had a great second half, outscoring them by 18. Hard to judge energy for whole half when 3 guys on bench, first few possessions were bad but we were down 4 with 2 minutes left in the half with non rotation guys

Wrong. This was early in the game when Marist was taking a big lead. And it wasn't only Crawford Very true. It started with our first shot of the game. Ross should have pulled it out when the defender closed in on him. He said Crawford was forcing, but who else was going to score?

It’s my understanding that Dutch’s injury is not serious. Don’t know timing of his return however... A separated shoulder will begin feeling better immediately after it's popped back in. The soft tissue damage might range from stretched ligaments to a labrum tear that depending on the severity may require surgical repair. Unfortunately, often times when a shoulder separates there's a tendency for the separation to happen again. Hopefully, the damage is minimal and he can play heavily taped and surgery can be avoided. Imagine they'll do an MRI and time will tell. Exactly what I've been telling people

He came back to the bench with arm in a sling and shoulder appeared to be iced He was screaming in pain and I expected to see a compound fracture when he rolled over, I think the look of the fall and his screams made everyone very scared. My guess is his shoulder popped out and that hurt like hell, the ice only on the shoulder definitely meant he didn’t do any damage to his arm, now we can just hope his shoulder has no excessive damage. It’s possible he’s back next game it’s possible he’s out all year. Agree

Very true. It started with our first shot of the game. Ross should have pulled it out when the defender closed in on him. He said Crawford was forcing, but who else was going to score? Ross played the entire half. Jelly sat with 9 minutes remaining. Agee sat with 4 minutes remaining. All three can score. How do you figure Crawford was out there all by himself? At the start of the game when the team came out flat and had zero movement on offense. I like this style of posting you have taken on. Wait for hours after the game and then just go down the line criticizing everyone's posts. lol. Not sure why you are even bringing up posts by multiple board members that were 100% correct hours after the game. Iona played a great 2nd half and won a must game, but you want to dispute posts from the first 10 minutes of the game?

I love how u jump ship the first sign of trouble, in basketball other teams go on runs. Sorry I don't go on the board during the game because the other team goes on a 5-0 run

Why is it so hard for you to admit the team came out flat and played terrible. It wasn't a matter of Marist going on a run, but how Iona was playing. Like others posted, Iona reverted back to just standing around on offense without any ball movement playing one-on-one forcing shots. Completely opposite of how they were playing during the 3 previous games. You could actually hear a couple of fans on the live stream screaming at the guys to move the ball. Both teams had runs the 2nd half, fortunately Iona had longer runs and playing the style that has now led to a game winning streak. Can't blame foul trouble on the poor start.

One thing I haven’t seen posted yet this year is how quiet, down to earth and likable Isaiah Washington is. He is not what I expected at all, he’s easy to root for and always is giving 100%. He is the reason we won today and one of the main reasons we have made this surge. Agree Joe Very unflappable--does not overreact to questionable calls like others. Business-like, unemotional approach to adversity

We had a bad 3 minutes, it happens. We were down 12-3 and were down less than 9 with guys sitting also u don't have to be out of the game for foul trouble to affect u, if u get a foul in the first 2 minutes u cant be as aggressive knowing u get 1 more u will sit. 2nd half when everyone played except Van Eyck, we won by 18, not both teams went on runs and we were fortunate our runs were better,+ 18 PT half is pretty good, if it was the first half and then we won by 8 don't think u would be saying the same. 3 bad minutes does not make a half

Fortunately the team was able to figure it out in the second half. The key today was getting that spark from Risto off the bench. Gonna need something from Mo and Perez due to the mounting injuries.
