Bryce Cotton with 88 votes holds off runner up Scott Machado with 80 votes , Cotton led league in scoring and steals while Machado led league in assists , both players can and have played in the NBA , height is the issue , talent is there

Height wasn't an issue for Nate Robinson or Mugsy. Vertical leap and speed is the key.... I myself stand 5'4 and at top of my career had a vertical leap of 44 inches.

ichoops, for you to have a vertical leap of 44 inches, you must have been standing on a stool three feet high.

Any idea where the brother played? His youngest brother Luiz Machado jr. originally played at Highland Community College (KS) but did not do much as a freshman. Then transferred to Walters State CC in Tennessee (averaged 13.7 points and 5.8 rebounds as a 6'6" SG). This past season, he played for Southwestern Christian University. SWCU is a very small school (850 students) in Bethany, Oklahoma and is NAIA. He played only 3 games averaging 27 min a game and 19.3 ppg. Dropped 21 points in an exhibition game against Oral Roberts. He played his high school ball at Providence High School in North Carolina and then finished up at Believe Preparatory Academy. He has a nice shot and has good range. Plenty of length and gets to the hoop pretty easily... looks better than many players I have seen in the MAAC... I wonder if it was academic issues that kept him out of an NCAA school.
