You beat me! Imagine if he was the coach of Kentucky, Uconn or Duke, there would be fans spying outside his door. Have to say Iona has done one hell of a job of keeping this private. Joebird, think you're wrong about Kentucky. They'd have someone INSIDE his front door.

Hoping Van Eyck is tough and can play through the pain tonight Although I agree his presence would be helpful, if he's not 100% I'm not sure how much help he would provide.

Perez averaging 9 points 4 rebounds vs Siena. Plus he has played pretty solid defense on Pickett when called on to guard him

Perez averaging 9 points 4 rebounds vs Siena. Hope he gives us something close,it would be huge, game 1 had 2 points no rebounds in 17 minutes, maybe tonight we see a difference,he gets 9and 4 we win!

Let's level-set everyone:
We could win this game. We'll need a great defensive effort, typical play from our starters, and contributions from guys like Risto and Perez. Very doable, for sure.
We could also lose this game. The computers say Siena's the best MAAC team, and they have been pretty ridiculous at home, handling most opponents by double figures. They thumped us good like 3 weeks ago. And a key part of our resurgence doesn't look like he's going to be able to go tonight. Not only could we lose, we could lose big.
And neither result makes our season. There's still 5 more games, and all are easier than this one. The point: let's not start booking NCAA tickets if we win, and let's not start the "next year" talk again if we lose. No matter what happens today, we have another important game on Friday.

If both EJ & Jelly have the same repeat performance as last game I like our chances. We need to get to the line like we have the last few games too that will be pivotal. Agee has to play smart. No taunting, just go to the rim & stick to your game Tajuan! I'd also like to see Risto make the start with Mo coming off the bench. Risto gave us some key defensive rebounds when we needed them & some big 3's. F**k Siena & the 8 pts. We'll be ready to go & focused. Guys know they want this one. Fight the Good Fight! Good Luck guys, Go Iona!

Guy, while the next two games won't make or break our season, but will probably determine whether we finish in the Top Five. For me, I'll still feel good about our chances if we have Dylan, Asante and Niko for the playoffs.
Pressure is on Siena, tonight, especially if we won't have any of the above three guys. Have to win by double digits, for them to feel good about their chances in AC. JMO.

Greg, if I told you once, I've told you a hundred times, I have no idea why the sky is blue. Go ask someone else.

Would love to see an upset here. Perhaps Siena is due for a bad game at home.

Some health updates. Van Eyck didn't go up with the team yesterday, but will be joining the team tonight, but obviously will not be playing.
Gist posted a shot of the HAC with the caption "the get back" on Instagram. Assume he's been cleared for basketball activity and hopefully will see him back at some point this season.
