MTS is claiming an NCAA Tournament bid for Siena... even though there isn’t an NCAA Tournament in 2020. Classic. They have a right to hang a MAAC Regular Season Champions banner, but anything beyond that would be incredibly bush league and pathetic. Not sure what that has to do with Coronavirus, But, you know I do feel bad for them. Rivalries aside, there was a pretty decent chance they would have won the tournament. There's no way to ever know for sure, but like many other teams the chance to prove that was robbed from them. Don't worry. I'll get back to hating them by November. Well, the coronavirus has to do with them claiming a faux bid.

Guys I posted the info on the virus and the MAAC tourney for awareness to those that went to AC. Hope you don't mind but just want to put this out there as well. No idea how many on the board live in New Rochelle, or have family that live here, but was told that 2 patients at the United Hebrew nursing home on Pelham Rd have been confirmed positive for the virus, just in case you have family and/or friends who are patients there. Too close to home as my Mom lives in the building next door. Scary shit. Stay safe

How is Gael Nation holding up with the virus?
My nephew (27) tested positive and is under quarantine.
You wouldn’t know there were restrictions based on my neighborhood. Kids playing in large groups and packs of adults hanging out with each other, not adhering to the six foot rule. We need to start listening to the medical experts or this is gonna drag out for a long time.
Be well all!

java, if you don't mind telling us, where do you live? What town or city? Carlsbad, CA My nephew is a nurse at White Plains Hospital. They resuscitated a patient who was positive. Out of precaution all in the room were quarantined. Subsequently, he tested positive and has about another 5 days in quarantine. He will then have to be tested twice (with time in between). If negative after the second test, he would be eligible to return to work.

java, hat, thanks. I'm about five miles from WP Hospital, and if I have to be hospitalized, that would be my hospital of choice. Fingers crossed, but I'm good to go (except for my posts) so far. WP has a VG rep. Pass along my best wishes to your nephew.

My nephew is back to work today.
He told me White Plains Hospital has 67 patients with Coronavirus, of which 19 are in the ICU. This is real and scary.
Concerned about Gael Nation, especially our older posters.

Concerned about Gael Nation, especially our older posters. Java - Stay Safe. I flew back to NY from Del Mar (San Diego) when this whole thing started getting serious to look after my parents. Unfortunately, I've been absent from the board lately as my father has tested positive and my mother is being quarantined as she has symptoms but they're mild. I have to take care of the family and I can tell you first hand, If you get infected depending on your health status, this is no joke. My father is 62, runs 3 miles a day and eats extremely healthy with no underlying health issues and has been in bed for 2 1/2 weeks. His fever has been normal and his cough has been getting better, but still hasn't gone completely away. FYI, my sister works for MSK in Manhattan and she has expressed the same concerns. I eat my words back in the day when I under played this whole thing, but now having first hand knowledge it has changed my views. Everyone on here, be smart and safe.
