Fourth one point loss of the season. Turnovers and missed free throws have crushed this team, time and again. Sad. yup, and 0-3 in OT. Not a good sign. We are 11-15. I think they should shut van Eyck down. An injured shoulder takes time. With a healthy Tim Cluess could have been a different season.

He has all off season to rest, it hurts, you suck it up, if he could injure it further he wouldn't be allowed out there

Arnold? These guys want to win now. A complete rebuild is coming.

I understand playing through pain(scrapes, sunburn etc.) I don't agree playing through an injury. Sometimes the coach has to step in and sit a competitive guy, like Van Eyck. Preventing them from doing permanent damage. And to anticipate 70's next post "Hey Schmuck, howe due yo know whut his innjery iz? " I am basing it upon the fact I saw the original injury, the pain, and screams. I also saw him bent over clutching the same shoulder late in the game yesterday.

I'll be very surprised if he's not dressed vs SPU. Maybe he starts and Arnold sees how it goes. Or maybe he looks up and we're down by 20 at the half and then yes, I agree, pull the plug on him. But if we are in this game, even if he doesn't log as many minutes as he normally would, I'll bet he'll be out there late.

He was allowed to play the next week and sat out until he was ready, there is a difference between hurt and injured schmuck, if he was injured they wouldn't let him play.

Disagree, I am feeling like the program is in a now or never mode, with big changes coming. Give the kid like 30 painkillers and let him ride this out, because we don't know what the future holds here. As long as Tim comes back healthy any changes would be assanine.

Dutch strikes me as the type who will be out there even if he has to play in pain. He appears to have a real competitive nature and high energy level, especially on defense. I wish the entire squad had his spirit on the court.

I wish the entire squad had his spirit on the court. He has a special talent covering the inbounder on a full court press. We have only used him for this a couple of times this year and he has made several steals/deflections or just misses, we should have done that more this year and should use that in the Maac tourney if we need a lift.

Disappointing last 2 games after a great stretch. Gonna need something special vs SPU. Bring Nic's girlfriend to distract the St. Pete's players.
